My M44 (Made in 1944) has a really nice bayonet too but it does have a little bit of wiggle with it collapsed but nothing concerning.. Mine came with the oiler, and the Sling too. Everything on my Mosin is numbers matching except the bolt. I do wish to have the matching bolt for cool-factor but the one I have is very smooth, and something tells me the mis-matched bolt, and loose bayonet could be due to a historic reason during use of the rifle :) Who knows, I love the thing and it would too be the last one of my arms I got rid of if I ever had to.
I believe it does just because the 2 different sections have different distances between the holes. So one of them should line up good enough if not perfectly. It's been a while so I forgot which one exactly. If you have a Ruger 10/22 you can see if one of the sets of rail mount screw holes on top of the receiver line up with the Rio Brovo's rear sight screw holes.
Lovely Rifle, I dont blame you for that being the last gun you'd part with! I have a mint condition Mosin M38 here in Ireland and feel the same about it! By the way... the 7.62 ЛПС (LPS) means its a steel core bullet. the гж means bi-metal so its a steel, copper washed casing. BT is the powder type ШТ is short for штука (shtuka) meaning pieces/contents.
Thanks for all of this awesome information! You're the first person to tell me what all of the markings on the crate mean. You definitely seem to know what you're talking about. I feel very lucky to own an M44. An M38 would be amazing too! Be well.
I just put in the Galloway spring kit and also added their stainless steel guide rod. Went from misfiring every couple rounds to shooting 30 rounds rapid fire with no issues. I know it's a limited test but compared to stock, it's worlds better!
Nice! The Galloway spring kit is awesome, alleviated all of the problems it was having. I did a video, that's on my channel, where at the end I put 150rds through it without any failures. Really is a world's better like you said!
Not exactly. For example I don't buckle up when driving at slow speeds through a nice neighborhood or when driving around at the farm where this video was filmed. It's all relative to the situation you're in
@@AmattEUR you think when you need do defend a life you will definitely have time to chamber? You may be driving slow speeds, but what if a maniac is doing 100mph and slams into you? There is no version where your logic on these issues is sound. If you cannot carry chambered, and do not see the reason why you should, you need more training.
@chadc5803 to each their own + you're not understanding the point which is everyone's situation is different. Also, maniacs don't drive 100 through a neighborhood, maybe 40-50. And if he did slam into me at 100 a seat belt probably won't help anyone. Seems like your logic isn't sound. This is fun, what else you got?
@@AmattEUR lemme tell you as an LEO, people do drive like that. And in a modern vehicle your chances are still decent, but only if wearing a seatbelt. (You will be in bad shape if hit at 40, 50 too with no seatbelt) If your situation is that you feel you need to carry, you should also see the need to be as prepared and trained as possible...with a round in the chamber.
Where I live you couldn't drive faster than 30 before ending up in someone's lawn. It's all about your own particular situation. That's the underlined point I keep repeating here. You're absolutely right about training. Training if very important, which is why I train all the time...without one in the chamber, and I feel very fortunate to live in a place where I feel comfortable enough to do so.
Without seeing it, it's hard to tell why it's leaning. Make sure everything including the rail is tightened down with no debris caught in between anything
your welcome, i did watch a few of your other videos, i liked them too but pistols and the subject of cheap tiny sa (customized) pistols for concealed carry, was exactly what i was looking for. Cant wait to see your next videos, i am a new subscriber, so ill get the notice. Like those others i mentioned, you too know what your talking about, i appreciate the focus on ballisics.
@AB-kg6rk these cheap sa revolvers are so much fun and versatile. Customizing them is the best part, too. I'm still making videos so stay tuned and really want to do a 9 shot barkeep video. Thanks again for the support!
