The dispenser will not dispense powder unless it sees zero on the scale. Whenever this happens just zero out the scale and it will work as it should. There is no need to do the whole set up process again. It’s definitely good practice to calibrate the scale every time you use it. Also be mindful that your breathing can make that scale fluctuate. It is super sensitive, and any electronics or Wi-Fi routers can sometimes mess with the scale.
If you plan on reloading 450 bushmaster, know that Hornady has changed the primers from small rifle to large rifle. They did this without saying a word. It only matters if you reload, but it still sucks that they did it like that.
Man that ain’t cool! I hope they take care of you! I ordered the wheeler rings that MidwayUSA had on sale the same time I bought my scope. Never used wheeler rings but they were $40 I guess we will see.
Wow, I have Warne on all my guns except one or two. Mostly used their Maxima on my heavier recoiling guns. Hopefully they take care of you, I've never had an issue so I'm unsure of how their customer service is.
That's crazy I have literally mounted hundreds of scopes never had that happen, they are a good company so hopefully they take good care of you keep us posted
After 50yrs of hunting and having close to 90 rifles so far I quit doing the barrel break in some time ago. On taking a new rifle out I’ll shoot several rounds before running a bore snake through it. A properly bedded factory rifle seems to either shoot or it won’t. I just ensure I shoot from a cold barrel so I bring 2-3 guns with me. With a new rifle, actually all my rifles, I like to shoot from as cold a barrel as I can. So 10-15mins is a common waiting period between shots. In reading hunting/rifle mags and now tv/youtube I have never found any real test done on a pair of rifles that went through a test whereby one was done with a full break in procedure and one was not and then both were shot with scheduled cleaning/cooling til they were shot out. Most hunters will never shoot out a barrel in their life (except bench rest/competition shooters) I’ve only known one person, a hunter, that shot out a 270 but he was an avid hunter, handloader and shot a couple hundred rounds a month. I don’t recall all those years of he ever did a break in procedure (I think not) on that Winchester 270
I live here in Tualatin Oregon located less than a mile from Warne's facility. I have not mounted this particular model of rings but have had great success with several other models of their rings. They are quick to answer the phone and should make this right quickly. Please post a follow up.
Man, I'm sorry to watch that!!! I can't see Warren not taking care of you. They're usually a standup company. It looks like the machine that top cap poorly. 145 beans Yoza!!! They sure proud of them things!!! 😮😮😮 To have them go like that is not a very good showing!!!! I only have one, 34 mm optic and wheeler rings because I didn't find a lot of low height. They work fine. ( didnt cost NEARLY)
Warne has always served me well. I have them on or have had them on bolt action and AR rifles....even 308 and 7mm Rem. Mag. They are well made and robust. This caught me off guard. If I didn't have confidence in you as a solid GunTuber I would think this wasn't true. But I trust you are shooting straight. I haven't used these particular rings you used. I can't imagine that Warne won't take care of this quickly and completely. Things can happen to the best of us. I will give them the benefit of the doubt at this point. But I can feel your frustration and displeasure. It is completely understandable.
Thanks for letting us know about this, Bama! This is the thing- you spent good money for a product from a reputable company, and what happens?? You loose your chance to shoot your rifle and new scope on your holiday weekend. I understand that even the best of companies can have issues, but what they NEVER take into consideration is the pressures of life and a working man's schedule!! Not good, Warne!! You can't make this right! And $145.99?? May I recommend Wheeler scope rings? Much more affordable and built like a tank. They also have a built in bubble level!
Wow. 145 bucks for scope rings?? I use Monstrum and lap them. I shoot 1000yrds with them and they work. Had one set that had defect and they shipped me a new set across the country and got them in three days. No questions asked
I hope I didn’t make a mistake just picked this up from Academy sports for a air riffle 103$ so we will see how it does looked good threw the optic will see how it holds up on the air gun
Sorry I missed you! I didn’t get the notification again 😞 I did get my 180cx and 75gr vmax as well today! Do yourself a favor, maybe make a video about it (not that I want to give away our favorite shopping secret lol) load up a couple groups of a known good load, then load same thing with some of those marked bullets. I don’t think you will see a difference at 100 yards. You talked and bullet testing check out Frontline Rejects they have a great testing playlist.
Hey Buddy. 270 Winchester is one of my favorites. I think that Interlock will give you a blood trail. Hope to see you soon. I'll be trying to get some of that powder, too. I'll buy a hat! Dang right!
