A/R I'm really disappointed you didn't shoot 100 round shot groups! LOLOL. Great content as always and great shooting! I shoot 3 round groups and just go hunting, the deer don't seem to mind if I'm off a little bit. They check out!
WOOHOO!!! No reason it shouldn't! But Im happy it shoots! 😅 I have a Savage 110 in 243 they doesn't do it, for me. But it shoots very well! So It stays for now. But Its in my head if I have a need... I may do simular.

Respectfully, what's wrong with using one's own money to do whatever they want with it and test new components? Maybe he wanted a CM instead of a 243 and chose to go this route instead of buying another rifle. I am picking up a brand new Rem 700 308 tomorrow. It's going straight to the rifle builder to be converted to either a 708 or 6mm Creedmoor. I already have 3 other 308s. I could use the new Rem to fireform brass, maybe even test it first to see how it shoots but I already made plans. Got a great deal on it on auction, $400 shipped. I intend to convert it just like I did a long action 700 280AI. This short action 700 rifle I'm picking up will get a Brux 4 groove, 9 twist #3 if I do a 708, or a Brux 4 groove, 8 twist #3 if I do 6mm Creedmoor, an HS Precision stock in SAND color. The bolt handle will get a tactical knob. The action body, bottom metal, and barrel will be cerakoted Patriot Brown. The bolt will be fluted and cerakoted black while the shroud will also be Patriot Brown. Sweet looking rifle and it's a quarter min to half min with factory Norma 280 Tipstrike 160 grain. Shoots so well I've not even handloaded for it yet but will this fall. I'm still fireforming the factory Norma 280 brass. Filled 2 tags last season with it. I'm leaning 708 mostly because I have nothing in 6mm - no dies, bullets, brass. But I keep reading and hearing a lot of good things.
