Thank you for checking out my channel! I like to think of myself as a De-Influencer. Someone that shows you how to use what you have to do what you need, how to spend less $$ on things you use for projects, and how to do things that will be helpful in life! So, I try incorporating that into my videos. You’ll find raw denim tutorials on washing/soaking/wearing, as well as DIY videos and quick tips that I think will help in life. Good question! Power steering fluid makes it easier to turn the steering wheel, so losing all fluid wouldn’t seize the steering, it would just make it extremely hard to turn the steering wheel! Thanks for watching!
I can't really say if they are 100% waterproof or not but I have the Gopro Hero 7 & 11. I've use both in many waterpark , beaches and pool over the year, I have zero problem with water . Both still work just fine . Hero 7 from 2018. The main problem I have with Gopro is overheated and stability. The Hero 7 with the older battery will not work properly under -10 C (14F) during winter. The Hero 11 does a much better job in the cold down to -18 (0 F). Unlike the hero 7, the hero 11 never froze on me for no reason. In summer, they will both overheated after a certain period of time. So too cold or too hot is not good. I have to use it by knowing its limitation. I wish Gopro will come up with better stable camera with all the new cameras on the market (DJI & insta360).
Nice assessment, thanks! Mine also overheats and the battery life isn’t the greatest. As for the water issue, I’ve heard others say that they have experienced it, and others have not. To me it seems like GoPro needs a better, or more rigorous, CQ process.
Just wondering. How is this mower working after you have had it a while? I know mulching mowers can be problematic with smaller engines like this one. They bog down and struggle. What do you think of it now.
Excellent question! Before I got the rear discharge chute, it was having issues bogging down if the grass was too tall or too damp. The job would take a lot longer due to having to scrape the bottom of the mower every several passes. I realized that not cutting the grass when it’s damp prevented this, as did not letting it get too long. However, that’s not always possible. Once I got the rear discharge chute everything changed! It does much better overall, doesn’t bog down unless I’m cutting tall grass and shooting clippings into my next path over and over, then I may see slight slowing down. Would I buy it again? Probably not, for a couple reasons. 1/3 of an acre is just a bit large for the deck size. I would like something wider that takes less passes! Slightly larger motor and the self-paced speed option. The single speed offered on this one can be a bit slow at times, and that’s annoying. With that being said, I’m not going to get rid of this until it’s done, or there’s a great sale on a wider deck mower!
@@DIYTutorialGuy I have a troybilt 4 years old with a honda gvc160cc engine.I bought this toro to replace as i was going to give the troybilt to my son. I used both today and can tell you the troybilt with the honda engine out performed the toro. With no discharge installed on both. The TroyBilt cut without any bog down. The Toro is a lighter machine and seemed to mulch the grass better. Maybe too much causing the engine bogging. Also briggs engine is slightly louder. The Troybilt is heavier but doesn't seem as flimsy.I really don't know now what one I will keep for myself. I'm a little disappointed in Toro at the moment.
@dbinner156 nice assessment. With the number of different models available these days, research is key! Even then, it’s hard to know the choice we made is the best one. I may just go big and buy a Scag!
How did you size these?! I have seen so many mixed reviews regarding waist size being too small or too big. Will shrinkage be an issue? What’s your height and f weight?
For sizing, I have a couple pair of raw denim jeans that fit perfect where I know the inches of the waist. I compared the measurement of those jeans with the Carhartt sizing chart and landed on this size. I have washed and dried these pants and they are a perfect fit. For reference I am 5’8” and weigh 160 lbs.
I used my mower the first time a couple days ago. I now have the chute as I have a lot of clover and it kept getting clogged. I was wondering if I have to change the setting from mulch to bagging or if I should leave it alone. I can't find it anywhere in the manuals.
On the mower I use in this video, there is no setting for mulch/bagging. Do you have a different model? Also, be sure you are cutting dry grass. Wet or damp grass will clog up the mower.
262 thousand views...feel like I just watched 262 thousand videos to find this one that showed me how to set my clock in 5 seconds. Thank you for the quick and to the point video.
Thanks much! Quick summary: Tap Settings on the big screen, tap right arrow at top where it says General to scroll right until you get to Car settings, then tap the down arrow to scroll down the Car menu to Units and tap Units to change kilometers to miles and vice versa.
The purpose of the video was showing how to check the transmission fluid levels, as the title states. At 4:35 I explain what to do if your fluid level is low.
Tengo entendido que el exceso de líquido de transmisión solo puede ocurrir cuando está demasiado lleno. Si se llena demasiado, el líquido adicional debería salir por el respiradero, pero no causará problemas con el 4x4. My understanding is that excess transmission fluid can only happen when it is overfilled. If overfilled the extra fluid should push out of the vent, but will not cause 4x4 issues.
I never received any kind of notification about when I would be receiving the chute. I got all sorts of info regarding the mower. Mine is a RWD personal pace (similar to this one but different too), but I never received anything about when I would receive it. I got it yesterday which was 2 weeks from the exact time I registered it and ordered the chute. I had read some of the comments on that page and some were shocking as they had said "chute was on back order and could be months before receiving" and similar things. I was shocked when I got it yesterday-2 weeks and none too soon as the mulching was not working on my lawn very good and it stalled about 5 times.
Good info. Couple of things: What is the fluid capacity of the transmission. After you topped this off, was it difficult to determine the fluid level? (Dipstick misreading due to residual fluid in the downspout)
Good instruction video...one thing I'd like to point out...these cans are very difficult for older folks with arthritic hands! If you fall into that category there are can modifications that can be made.
This is a great thing to point out! If you share the tips with me I could make a video that addresses this situation. It may be helpful for others facing the same dilemma!
Ever have a code P0456 pop up on your '10 Forester? It is a EVAP code. I replaced the gas cap, purge valve, Evap canister and EGR valve. Still having issues.
@@DIYTutorialGuy I cleaned the MAF sensor today. And all of a sudden I have P0172 codes. You think I need 02 sensors? It's been about 50,000 miles since I changed them.
How do you get the gas into the can? The nozzle at the gas station kept shutting off on me or spilling when I was trying to fill the diesel version of this can.
First, I remove the spout so I have easy access to the fill hole. When filling the can I usually don’t squeeze the gas handle all the way, instead I gradually increase my hands pressure on the handle until the gas is flowing at a reasonable pace.
You just took a gas can that if used properly can be used to completely fill up some thing without overflowing if you stick the nozzle down inside of the filter spout on the lawnmower tractor it will stop filling when it’s full. Automatically you just completely obliterated that feature
From the dictionary: fault noun 1. an unattractive or unsatisfactory feature, especially in a piece of work or in a person's character. "my worst fault is impatience" 2. responsibility for an accident or misfortune. "it was his fault she had died"
