Very good video…l really enjoyed seeing my past,used to catch about 10 species at a time in a very productive backwater near Stroud in the 70 s. It’s just a shadow nowadays

Yea really like this video friend…. easy watching with a bit of excitement thrown in… that’s a really nice mornings fishing being able to catch all of those different species…. i’ve watched a few of your videos now and decided to subscribe… you’re a nice humble fellow like myself… some of the videos on here that people make can be a little patronising… you’re the opposite…. I was getting right into it… especially the nice barbel at the end… the pile sticking out of the water concerned me a bit until yyfor it into the open water!!! keep up the good work…..
Nice stretch of river I use Crocs for wading in the summer they stay on better than sliders, similar approach to my style of BFS fishing but I use a Alderbaran

I enjoy your videos Alfie. Do you know if your hook baits are effective for catching grass carp? I'm in the US and grass carp (vs. common carp) are present in many of our rivers and lakes.
Shadwell, the navigation, the tidal, regents canal, the park lakes and secret London reservoirs and basins I won’t bait up 🤫 , I’d never fish a runs water since the first time I ever did this is urban fishing, wild fish, what a bloke doing London proud Alf 💙💙
Nice video as always, some cracking fish. I'd like to use bread more often but the roach shoals on my local lakes make it an exercise in frustration, I can't keep the bait out long enough to catch something bigger.
