Yeah I'm probo showing my age but back in the early 2000s if you rode only rode dirt jumps and a bit posh so could afford them you'd probo have profile's but they where dead easy to dent if you rode street so most riders had primo's and my frist pair of 3pc cranks where the demolition chromo one's that had a skull and spine engraved on them that looked totally badarse and they lasted years until cracks started appearing around the left pedal and I replaced them the odyssey twombolts which have stood the test of time! Plus back in 2006 ish my friend scot got the RNC cranks with a titanium axle which where a bit like OG primo powerbites but the arms where made of harder 7000 series aluminum and he managed to completely snapped off the right pedal bosset within 3 mouths of getting them but because they had a lifetime warranty he got a free replacement and the 2nd set broke again in same place but in half the time! Which is sod's law kidda Ha ha
Tightening one side then the other until it's centred worked for me. Now my wheel moves closer to the front and makes chain loose... Fckin' BMX design... I know about chain tensioners but I have not tried one yet and do not want to. Chain is tight enough... Chain slaps when jumping is what gets me...
love lots of the comments here... riding bikes for 40 years so far... just getting back into BMX to help out my 7 year old daughter. LOVE IT. go get after it - too old is other peoples problem ;)

You dont have to cut your bars if they are actually high enough. Im probably going for like a 10 inch bars next. We rode a big bar bike in middle school and it was such a dialed 21 inch bike.
The solution that I do .I learned it from my welder bmx friend since 2017 up until now is tin can cut into square or maybe just fold it. Like a sandwich .the tin can acts as the bread. Up and down between stem. And 2nd solution. If you cant afford to buy new ones. Is to cut and replace the tube replace it with thicker tube. Ive tested both method way back before up until now. Drop 180 360 and its pretty strong but if you are a massive rider not recommed
I rode when I was a kid. My heroes were DMC, Mira, Nyquist, Trevor Meyer. I was 6’4” 155 pounds and I had a GT performer! I loved that bike! I never had anyone tell me what TT length to get. Now I am past 40, 6’3” and 240 lbs size 13 feet, and haven’t ridden since 2003. Just some hobby riding flatland, simple dirt, and street. What would you recommend?
Hey @dougsterbob I just got back into BMX after 3 years off. I stopped at 28 and I'm 31 now and things changed so much, I stopped due to personal issues and life, I stopped never quit though. So now being rusty and having close to the set up I had before riding has been challenging but it's so fun I don't mind my skill gap as long as I'm on them 20 inch rims
I'm 5' 5" and I've been riding this bike for quite some time and I actually like it a lot. Perhaps it's not the best for the techiest street riding, but other than that it works very well for an everyday bike
So, I started watching your videos last week and checked out some of your recommendations. Came across the Fly Proton. My question to you though, are you doing your reviews based on actually riding and testing these bikes or solely on research? Just curious.

Just got back on a bike after 15 years, glad to see I'm not the only one that had this feeling ! I'm 5'6" and bought a bike with a top tube of 20.4 is this a good size?
I just bought one, it's great. I'm 37, I ride park/street at a higher level and it's better than my last bike which was more expensive from another company Good Call Dougster Bob.
I like my bike destickered... It looks better... Likely better than any bike you have my friend... Just saying... Be original... Strip away the advertising and have a bike that's yours ... My bike has 15 different brand components on it. It's completely unique... I encourage more to do this than follow the propoganda from guys like you trying to sell something you are pushed upon to sell.
When I was ready to buy this I changed my mind last minute, went ahead and ordered an envy prodigy x street scooter from Amazon. Think I’ll stick to scooters for now, don’t have to worry about tires going flat which I like.
I have a 2023 Haro Hoover, and I just bought a 2023 Kink Switch that cost me a grand total of $461! I'm happy as can be with this bike! It makes me want to ride all the time!
i got a pair of the eclat onyx cranks for free off an old wtp envy complete, never knew how good they where. while they are lighter than the current version thats because thewy only run spline drive sprockets witch are a pain to find in the uk
bought a 21.8 cult biggie frame from them 2 months ago.. got it quick and Matt hooked me up with free chain tensioners that were missing.. no complaints
