ive never done soldering before and kinda health anxious about it, i really want to start modding my own peripherals and maybe im just not sure how to start. would buying p100 respirators help with the health risks? id like to learn how to do this but want to minimize as much risks as possible im kinda paranoid with health stuff lol
i haven't tested the mouse yet because the switches i ordered haven't arrived yet, but I think i fucked up the board when i tried to desolder the switches. there was a small metal circle piece that came off and i don't know if that's the contact point of the board or just a piece of lead. HELP
What does the 5 Pin connector name? i cant hear u clearly or u can give me the link and one more what is the name of the core wires called? and can u drop the link where to buy it 🥺
😞 couldn't figure out how to take my pink razer ultimate mouse apart, decided to just mask the entire mouse and spray paint the area I wanted. Chipped the paint off my mouse and it was bothering me. Didn't sand either, so rip me. Guess I'll just cover it in stickers or something 😂
the right click switch was soldered in the wrong orientation. see 1:55 and 8:05.. that is why ur having issues on click when your testing @ 8:54,.. but still this is a good video.
I learnt that it's best not to cut the paracord before putting the cables through, especially if there's more than 4 wires and it's quite thick. I found out the hard way when my pre cut paracord wasn't long enough because it had compressed to allow the thicker cable through it. It was probably about 20% shorter than when I cut it. Edit: you need to pull the inner string out of the whole paracord length if you don't cut first. So you can just cut 30% extra length beforehand.
great video !! I have one question. After a long time using your mouse do you have issues with the paint wearing off in your palm? I ask that because my hands get a lit bit sweaty after hours of using it. Should i use a certain type of paint ?
I'm doing a while build, but my favorite mouse is the Razer Naga. It only comes in black. I'm not sure about masking the logo... that's going to be a pain lol.
Might have to try this and just use an old basic mouse in the mean time. My Steel Series mouse, the finish wore through really quickly I must have had something on my fingers one day that caused this. Really need to respray with some texture and black the thumb and texture on the two finger buttons. Otherwise the rest of the mouse is still pretty much brand new imo.
Great video, I do have one question. I want to add patterns on the paint (Letters, paisley), so I thought I can cutout the patterns I want on a cardboard, and spray that on a different color on the mouse. Would this work?
Is the switch matter for drag click what I mean is I have a gaming mouse look like bloady a70 and it can not register clicks if i switch to better switchs is It will register plz answer ?
