My channel makes map animations of events and nations of history such as World War II or the Roman Empire. I also enjoy making interesting history videos as well. My goal is to make a map animation on as many things from history as possible. If you have trouble with history or you love history, hopefully my videos can help!
So you're telling me the way feudalism ended on this island was the bourgeois financially pushing "democracy" so they could run the place... Haven't heard that story before...
I believe that Huey Long's death was a well-acted, under-handed and very well paid murder. Long had enough power to defeat Roosevelt so the rich had to kill the man who was the greatest threat to themselves.
As of 2024, the last Shaker village in Maine reversed the no converts decision, according to a Religion For Breakfast video that came out on the same day I’m writing this comment
If you are from a region like this, It is important to realize that you will start to see more and more people from all over the world stopping by. Remember that you are an ambassador in every interaction. Every time you can be observed going in to public, it is your duty to give a positive impression. Stand up straight, dress appropriately, be clean and tidy.
Well, after WW2 there was Yugoslav occupation of Southern Austria, as well as Italy all the way to river Soča (Isonzo), that means city of Triest too. Yugoslavia was on rhe verge of war with W. Allies and Italy. Yugoslavia ceased to exist when Croatia and Slovenia declared independence in 1991.
It's a good thing Erich Honecker did not have all the titles of the Hapsburg emperors! (East German TV recited all the titles he did have whenever he was in the news, which included every time he visited a factory.)
Interesting mention of Moses Austin, but the French Creole were here well before him. The land grant at Old Mines dates to 1723 and there were many settlers before then. Also, Moses is father to the more famous Stephen F Austin who is better known as the father of TX. Moses was actually the one who travelled to Mexico City and received the land grant in Texas, but died on the return trip. At this point his son Stephen recruited settlers to uphold the land grant in Texas. Moses Austin days are still celebrated every Father’s Day weekend even if no one else knows who he was.
I hate this scenario because I like being Canadian and I like Canadian form of government better than American government for example I like how we have more than two parties. Like how we also give our territories representation unlike America.
I'm Canadian and I think we should have won this rebellion. Leader of the rebellion in upper Canada was William Lyon Mackenzie and he had the title as President
My dad’s from Arkansas and used to work as a travel agent for an airline in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and as part of that he’d regularly fly between Fayetteville and Little Rock. He said sometimes the hill folks in the Ozark Mountains would shoot at their planes.
