I has l5s1 fused. They told me absolutely not to a epidural that it was not worth the complications that arise. So i gave birth without And felt so empowered
Thank you for sharing this. I had spinal surgery when I was 12, now I am 27. It was twisted 80% in upper and lower back each. I had 12 vertebra fixed, so I have a titanium bar that is "attached" to a big part of my spine and I can't really bend in the middle of my back 😞 now I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I was sure that I would have to have a C-section, but I hope I will be able to have a vaginal birth... Overall it is better lets be real, you don't have to worry about your big scar and at the same time having to take care of a small baby, it sound so much better without the C-section 😅😅😅 I am just scared that I will not be able to push because of potential back pain? Idk if that is possible during labour, does the pushing affect your back?
What types of positions during labor were helpful to you? What types of modifications or tools helped you through labor and delivery? Thank you so much for providing your story!!🎉
My daughter had spinal fusion surgery recently and in a year she wants to get pregnant. The neurosurgeon said there is no reason why she couldn't get pregnant after a year and if all goes well in the healing process and PT. I was wondering is there anything like a soft brace or something that could support the baby and the back during pregnancy? I don't even know if that's a thing people use. Just wondering. Thank you.
We had a cabin on Lake Margrethe for 40 something years. We sold it after my parents passed away and I still miss the area. Great video and presentation!!

I will be moving back to Michigan and will be driving my items back this time around and I am terrified of the small ledges and narrow drives through the mountains. Any pointers or insights? I had my surgery at 11 and now that I’m in my child bearing years I wonder if I’ll be able to get an epidural. I’m fused T4-L2 so we’ll see! Thanks for sharing your story!

Stumbled across you on RU-vid and I watched your videos in Greece. I very much enjoy them, and if you'd have the time, and if you don't mind, will you answer few questions for me? While traveling the different islands of Greece, would a 73 year old woman that has to have a Rollator to walk around Bay able to get around on the Greek Islands? Also, would it be safe to take my teenage, very beautiful granddaughter with me there. If you have a rough idea what is the cheapest you could pay for a room that have a kitchen and full bath? I am dreaming here but I would like to stay a month so I would like to have an apartment I could rent. One last question, do you have to have a special camera and equipment to make RU-vid videos AR will a smartphone they sufficient?

How did your body handle the pain of labor before the epidural? I am pregnant for the second time and am worried about this delivery. The first time, anesthesia wouldn’t even touch my back, even when doctors and nurses asked multiple times. And I think my back didn’t want to participate in labor and so my abs had to push the baby out and I tore horrifically and I just don’t want that to happen this time.
