I started selling Digital Products on Etsy in 2023, and since then I've started earning enough passive income to cover my living expenses. In 2024, I started this RU-vid channel to show others that with a little creativity, it's possible to make big money online without doing full time work.
My goal is to build a 7 figure business & teach you exactly how to do the same. Follow along to watch me manifest my dream life.

Do you make a bunch of designs at once and drop them all at once? Or do you make one at a time. also, this might be a silly question but why wouldn’t people just design invites on canva themselves for free?
@@chastityholloway6080 Normally I make them one at a time. However, I suggest if you’re just starting out that you create a batch of a few so that you can publish them more frequently. To your second question, it’s all about convenience. If people are already shopping around Etsy for a baby shower for example, they’d rather just get a digital invitation that matches their chosen aesthetic than take the time to find a generic template on Canva and customize it to their liking. Not everyone has an “eye” for aesthetic design. I recommend offering products that aren’t just pretty, but also useful. So if you make baby shower invites, offering other things like printable baby shower games or printable baby shower decorations makes people just want to go ahead and buy the whole bundle from you. Clicking “add to cart” is so much easier than taking hours to create all of those things from scratch.

@@Shopgirl2000 I do what most other sellers do, and I disclose in my item description that in order to download the finished template, customers will need to have access to Canva Pro. I also include a link to a free trial of Canva Pro in all of my downloads.
@@TatyanaSavage Ah - I have never heard anyone doing that. Interesting! Have you had any customers complain about this - stating that they didnt realise they need to have Canva Pro?? Or do they read properly and not complain?
@@Shopgirl2000 nope, I’ve never had anyone complain about it! Canva is the most popular platform to create templates by far, so I think it’s a pretty standard experience for customers.
Hey, Just curious on what inspired you choose to do Baby shower invites? Im stuck trying to choose what kind of digital product i want to do. Also Thank you for the info its Veryyy helpful :)
@@AnyahtheAlchemist thank you! & I actually don’t sell baby shower invites on my shop, this is just an example of a good digital product niche to get into. I sell Canva templates in a different niche. I’m putting out a video in the next few days where I’ll show my keyword research process, which is a good way to determine what digital products are in high demand. I also have another video where I give some examples of high demand product niches you can get into. I’ll grab it and link it under this comment.
Id like to see a video about how you got your brand deal. Also, I've been planning to start a RU-vid channel with a friend or two. I have a fear of failure so, here's my first goal: I will post my first RU-vid video for my new channel within 7 days. Only came across you today but your content is great. I have a digital etsy shop but I am wondering if too niche, it gets about 10 sales a month so not great🤦🏻♀️ would it be worth dropping the price maybe?
@@chelsiegrieve 10 sales a month is great!! & whether or not you want to drop the price really depends on a few factors like your conversion rate, & your competition’s price range. Are you getting low sales because your listing keywords need improvement, or is it because your price is a bit too high (or too low)? You’ll have to analyze your shop a bit deeper to determine that before you make any changes. 🤔
@@TatyanaSavage I think that is what I am struggling with. Need to put more time i to it, I am already at 84 listings. But seems my dog trainer templates are the biggest sellers. Sadly 54 sales and 5 reviews 🤦🏻♀️
Did you use Etsy ads at all for your digital products??. I started an Etsy shop, I did enjoy designing my tshirt for the medical field I currently work in, although I did quickly feel defeated when nothing was selling, I also became overwhelmed with having to work and doing the single mom thing. I appreciate your video, you remind me of me in a sense, including the reasons for not starting a RU-vid channel. I appreciate your authenticity.
@@angelgrant5731 thank you so much! & no I never have used Etsy ads. I think they’re a waste of money tbh. I just learned SEO & how to do keyword optimization and that has really carried my shop. I’m working on a video about my keyword strategy now & I’ll be breaking down everything step by step so that should help boost your shop’s visibility & sales! 🩵🩵
I must be below the average new youtuber. I decided to officially start my channel by Feb 2023, and I'm getting a slow growth as i decided to go with a Crafty DIY niche. I decided to reopen my Etsy shop to sell digital products in Nov 2022 and in about a year and a half, I made under $150. But, despite not having as much success as most, I'm still making videos because I enjoy them and I keep thinking to myself, "you never know if one day one of your videos might go viral." And with my Etsy shop, it's far more successful now than it was back when I first opened shop because back then, I don't recall the ability to sell digital products and no one ever saw my paintings I tried to sell. So I gave up back then. I think the niche makes a difference and having knowledge about what tags to use in both are super important as well as how much competition there already is in that niche. I must be failing constantly, but... I'm still seeing some progress even though it's slow.

I need help. the template link is only taking me to the original copy, not an actual template for people to use. how do i fix this. yes i copied the template link and not the colab link.
@@breannbeard6560 how do u know the template link is taking you to the original copy? Like what message are u seeing? Also, try making a copy of your design first that way u have two identical versions, and then make a template link for the second copy. Then edit the template design of the second copy using the template link and go back to see if those changes were applied to your own second copy of your project.
@@TatyanaSavage i downloaded it to my files. Then i click the file to see what the person buying will see. Then i click the link to see if it worked and it took me to my original version of what im selling. At the bottom its supposed to say “use template” in blue but it says “edit template”
