Nice run! You punish a lot of Pzeno's openings well. You often do a RBD into Overhead Slam (OS) into RBD and OS then full burst. Was that to build up mount faster? The evasions after the 2nd transform combo chain was very well executed. Assuming Wild's has crossplay, I'd love to do some multiplayer runs in the future.
thank you! i appreciate it. it could still be much cleaner tho and that was the idea in the beginning for a faster mount, yeah. tho i should've of kept abusing double RBD even after the mount since i don't have to hail cutter for procing dogs spinning chain blades for freestyle unless im mistaken? and yeah, i'd be down to do multiplayer hunts at some point. you and juzzi's team have been doing alot of really good ones. keep up the good work.
that's your opinion and that's okay. i've been playing since 4U and it's still my favorite game to this day. i wouldn't call rise a bad game tho. it does have its have it's flaws like any other game and that's okay. in terms of speedrunning, i love rise due to the amount of creativity i find with any weapon and matchup i play. it's fun for me in that way atleast. thank you for watching tho.
Incredible run! I assume you decided to not use a Dragon Glaive because of how poor Narwa's Dragon hitzones are, despite being primarily weak to that element?
thank you! and sort of. narwa hitzones aren't worst for element. if you're a weapon like dual blades, you'll probably wanna still go element. the main reason i went with amatsu and a dragon heart set is because of narwas massives hitzones on it's charged parts. most of them going over 90. since glaive doesn't have the best element values, those hitzones are massive enough to really ignore element and really go full raw. i did try out an element set and amatsu did like 300 or 400 more damage on the eggsac after a diving wyvern. lol
i agree now! i actually dreaded doing this fight whenever i needed her materials, but now having a sound strategy and an understanding of her moveset, the people in the gathering hubs will be jealous they can't jump over the dragonaters 🤣
i didn't know you did a narwa run. ill check it out! it felt like the best idea as before hopping over the dragonaters, i was trying to advance roundslash through everything and have it eat an intrepid heart to get to her, but finding out you can hop over it looks cooler anyway. im happy with how it looked in the run. and i used amatsu because her hitzones are fat af. most charged parts going over 90 which is crazy. most of the parts have shit dragon weakness at 15 for head and tail and 20 for arms. the eggsac is an exception at 25, but with the only hitzone reaching 100 in the game. idek if full dragon element would be able to touch that. lol. thank you rectal
Is elemental insect glaives any good? I heard players just using nargacuga glaive all the way... I wanna craft all high elem weapons like the old mh series😭
yes, weapon augmentations gives like 53 element and alot of element skills like element exploit, strife, Mail of hellfire, etc have been introduced making element very viable for a good amount of weapon in master rank. i would say if monster has atleast a elemental weakness of 20, its good to build for element. anything under that you would ideally go raw, but don't take everything i said to heart, there's alot of variations with monster matchups and weapon. sunbreak has brought alot of variation in terms of weapon usages

@@Pragles absolutely excellent! I've finally got the time to focus on self improvement and I'm actually making music that I enjoy at a rate higher than once per 1000 years. I've also been returning to older MH titles to help tide me over till PEAK HUNTER WILDS releases. MHGU and mhrise and possibly even frontiers will hold me.
I have a doubt: the skill "berserk" is complemented with bloody rite? I mean: you lose life but when you hit broken parts you recover life or you slow down the rate at which your life drops (I don't know if my doubt is clear 😅).
i will admit, doing this matchup did kinda change my mind on horn in rise. alot of it's moves are very unimpressive. plus the damage just aint there for some matchups like scorned. it's still fun but i understand people's concerns with rise horn. thank you for watching tho.
this is a copy paste of a comment i answered about the sane question earlier. you can do just about whatever you want. you won't really need shaggy. still grab them when you can. the only things you really need for this play is a glaive with level 14 kinsect and supercharge. at that point, everything else is comfort. you can run all three risen teo pieces for full powder mantle and risen kushala head of course for full wirebug whisperer and wind mantle 1. defiance 3 i would also fit through decos, and also have Hellfire cloak for the free topple. you can also have evade extender 1 for comfort and embolden for extra i frames on your dodge if you need. other than that, that's really all you need if you're exclusively playing like i am in the video. you should also have quite a few slots to put whatever other comfort skill you want.
the only thing that effect awakened kinsect damage and kinsect bomb damage is level 14 kinsect which will be on glaive stats, supercharge rampage deco and base weapon element. anything else like water attack 5 or attack boost 7 will not affect kinsect damage. at that i would just use the set i have in the video and you can augment whatever comfy skills you'd like.

I love this game. After more than 500+ hours I still find something new in the gameplay.... This kinsect special attack where it sucks up all the clouds on command got me in denial, didnt know you could do that. Also your video cuts of at 0:23
originally i was gonna going to do a GS valstrax. unfortunately i did not have the forlorn quest for the extra wirebugs. apparently strong arm GS is not the most fun to use without having the 3 wirebugs at all times. 💀 so expect that very soon. thank you.everyone as always

An excellent showcase of likely the most flexible and effective gunlance adaptation in maybe the entire series! I love so much that you can reload with switch skill swap. Sunbreak is like valor GUNlance on crack. Nice run! I still struggle to get flawless runs using the reverse blast dash and redirection I-frames xd
gunlance is lowkey becoming my favorite weapon over glaive. it looks cool but is fun to play. gunlance having an answer to every situation a monster can throw out is nice. blast dash is a little tricky to get use to, but you;ll get the hang of it! i would try going in training and practicing multiple reverse blast dashes on the dummy with infinite wirebugs.

Gonna be studying how you position against this bastard of a monster based on what i see here! I feel CB demands more careful gameplay in rise than perhaps in world and sometimes even GU.

XD the positioning on the fight isn't the worst but it'll take a bit of time to get use to. you're probably gonna have more issues with the chip he does. he also just does stupid shit you really can't punish. CB in world and rise are honestly much more fun since you don't have to play SAED since it's not as good for most matchups. plus savage axe in world be nice. hope you're doing okay with life btw!
@@Pragles agreed. SAED feels really weird vs fast or high uptime monsters, I liked how CB felt in world where you had good reason to use either savage axe, AED or SAED for most monsters. Like an actual Swiss army knife! Tbh if they brought back the savage axe as a mainstay functionality Is be happy! I miss that guard point as well ;-;. I'm gonna stick to my weird ass sword and shield only CB "ROYAL GUARD" build I'm glad I'm not the only one getting their life eroded by the monster chip damage Xd. Engaging in endgame for mhw and mhrise made me appreciate putting on some sort of sustain skills on my armour.
I feel ashamed to call myself an insect glaive main after seeing this video, it took me 2 faints and 24 minutes to beat risen valstrax with my best build and that wasn't even the anomaly version! 😭😭😭
