do depressions influence the gameplay? i wasted so many hours playing free play, training packs, custom maps, learn new mechanics, watching tutorials on how to get better.. i'm at 4.5K hours now and my peak is dia 3 some said my rotation is really good, but in 2s f.e. i'm so nervous, i can't even hit aerials, nothing, mostly missing the ball. idk i'm not made for this game, it's hard af for me, then i see friends who hit GC with 700 hours
my problem is that im trying to learn how to be mechanical not the gamesense part of mechanics... like i have quite literaly no mechs other than dribbling and shooting - im missing flicks, air dribble somehow. Yet i can preflip the balls of any surface to speed the tempo up and am gc which comes in 90% from gamesense. Grinding mechanics for more than half a year yet stuck at same level of mech. And my mechanical level can screw me up so much that im literaly able to miss the easiest ball in air u could think of (like wtf is this)
I don’t know how rocket league would add to it’s mechanics in a meaningful way. I’d rather them keep the core mechanics the same. They’re not broken. Edit: I do agree they need to do something in terms of features or new game modes
Pointless how? If you get sick of certain items and want different ones u can exchange them instead of buying new ones and never using the others again???
@@kawfeeYT first of all don’t call me an idiot kid, second of all like 90 percent of the items I ever earned were not eligible for trading anyway so it made trading totally pointless. like I understand why they made dlc content not eligible but anything I earned from just playing the game made it so redundant

What if all of the Rocket League player's who truly loves the game donate a certain amount of money to something idk what but then we buy Rocket League
You know what we need? We need someone to make a new car soccer game where they actually listen to their community and has extremely similar gameplay. Then maybe epic will be forced to do something or they’ll lose tons of players to this new game
If it does we will all join forces to create an open source alternative or a new version that competes with Rocket League and we, the people, will blast epic out of the picture
They can add a mode where there’s offsides and penalties or something Or a mode that mixes multiplayer and training mechs (a shot pre setup and have one person defending one person attacking) Etc etc Idk so many ideas using things already in the game (rl volleyball or tennis anyone?) but nooo More crappy painted items and stuff in the shop to make $$$
This would definitely change the freestyle community. But as of competitive rlcs, it’s too delayed, a quick powershot ceiling pop over a prejumper into a reset double tap is the alternative counter. Playing in 1800 lobbies I could tell you it’s not effective unless I can fit a truck through the air or have space
this is such a well put video. i cant help but be so angry with what epic games did to rocket league. such a company owning a precious game feels so wrong. its milking RL for all its worth, and will eventually abandon it after it earns them enough profits. epic doesn't care a bit about rl, all they want to do is use it to gain as much money as they can - this explains removing trading and adding rocket racing to fortnite instead of within rl itself i really feel sorry for the game. to me its like an abusive parent adopted an innocent child and is mistreating them in every aspect
Very well made video and everything is absolutely relatable. I just want to see custom maps and editor for all platform. Just let the community build awesome maps and gamemodes and let them be available for everyone

Rl could be revived if the devs put even the tiniest bit of effort like adding a creative menu so console player can play on steaam maps or anything like that
They wouldn’t even need to allow all steam workshop maps to be played for players to feel grateful and heard: A selection of 3 or 4 workshop maps becoming official game modes playable online with or without a party would be huge.
A bunch of people like to whine about “adding new content”, yet what content could they add? more gamemodes? whenever they add gamemodes, people complain that they want more than just a gamemode.
Custom map creator so we can enjoy community made training maps and mini games. Rocket Racing is getting a custom map maker and only has been out less than a year.
adding gamemodes itself would be cool and ofc they should be "new" as the title says and not like g-force which was basically boomer mode but recycled, but having like communications Q&A on the discord server or twitch instead of adding collaborations packs every week (pretty much like fortnite does) no offense but really they plan on "killing" the game with each of these updates
Wouldn’t personally play many game modes myself, but it would be nice for something new in the game once and a while. Considering I bought the game before it was free to play and they’ve now turned it into a money grab
they should add a thing where you can create your own maps (and maybe even mutators) within the game for any gamemode, be it regular rl, knockout or rocket labs so that not only will something be added to the game but also console players can create maps as well as pc players
Nice vid! Thanks for taking the time to make it. One suggestion: might be helpful to incorporate slo-mo when showing the step by step decision making parts. It’s a little less jarring when you have to stop-start each piece.
Lag on low ping, servers being somewhat crap lately, the ranks getting messed with and as consequence everyone being pushed down further than normal despite skill level. No actual communication. removing trading. killing RLCS with the open quals and lower winning sums spread across MORE teams. dropping some of the best casters for no actual reason. They're TRYING to kill rocket league.
if they’re trying, they’re failing miserably. game still averages 90 million monthly players, and all the people that complain about “server issues” and that “the ranked system is broken” are still playing the game regardless. people want new content when all they can add is more gamemodes, but when they actually add more gamemodes people complain about wanting more than just gamemodes. if the player base stopped acting like this it would help epic games and psyonix want to actually work on the game and do more for it. *WE ARE CAUSING ALL OF THE ISSUES WITH UPDATES AND CONTENT BY COMPLAINING SO GOD DAMN MUCH.*
As a player from OG Season 1, I have seen the rise and fall of this game in real time. I saw the addition of painted items, new physics (reset timer and removing rapid ball touches), keys and crates, trading, extra modes, extra modes being put into ranked... I saw the acquisition of Psyonix, lvl75 cap being removed, then the removal of solo standard, introduction of the rocket pass, removal of keys and crates for credits and blueprints, the addition of the shop, ranked goalposts being moved (GC mmr reduced from 1515 for SSL), removal of trading, extra modes being taken out of ranked, and so, _so much more._ A lot has happened, but at the same time, nothing changed... For those of us that have been here from the beginning, this hurts so much.
@@HertzDuzNit I still think players that reached Rocketeer during the lvl75 cap should've been given a special title for it. Basic grey glow to differentiate it from the post XP change "Rocketeer". I'm not quite that high (lol), 2150-ish, but that's no rocket pass beyond the first 3 and semi retirement after f2p.
Yeah, i remember i didn't buy black fennec when the jordan decal came out, just to fing out it was actually patched hours later cause they accidentally priced it at 500 cr instead of 700... but the fucking aerial training thing still hasn't been patched. Seriously, they fix the virtual price of an item in a matter of hours after it comes out, but a bug that's annoying the whole community still stands. It's aggravating to say the least
