Can you please tell me if I need to let the epoxy used to hold the glitter fully cure before the final coat? And do I need to sand the glitter before applying the next coat?
This is a great way to do it. I've done alcohol ink, and no matter what you use, there is always some resistance with the resin and ink. What a pain having to do like three coats! This method is fail-safe! I'm going to do different colors. Blues for the Navy! Greens for Army...etc.
Thanks for all of your generosity in sharing both the tutorials and tips. I'll be subscribing for sure. Can I ask , Do you also film the entire process which might include the measurements and the name of the product & colors you use? I'm hoping 😊
@@KSRESIN Well, I guess I mean like, how much you mixed for each color , drops of pigments etc. I appreciate when it's presented one step at a time. "Like you're teaching a brand new 10year old...😅
@@kimblack1636 For this particular board we did around 2 ounces of clear epoxy resin in each cup. Then we mixed in a drop of White Waves Liquid Resin Dye into each cup, including the blue cups. Turquoise Blue and Deep Sea Blue Liquid Resin Dyes were added into the other two cups with the white, leaving one separate cup of just White Waves Liquid Resin Dye + epoxy resin. Our Liquid Resin Dyes are highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. Start small with a drop or two per 30ml, mix it in well, and then let it run off your mixing stick to see the color of the mixed epoxy. Add more as needed. Super easy!
