Why is your hp so low? I am using the ferias documentation and still cant figure out why speedrunners go with so little hp. What skill are you activating by doing this?
I'm not sure what you mean, the damage dealt by Dereliction *is* healed by Bloodlust. Also yes I healed some of the chip damage from Intrepid Heart with the Vigorwasps too.
@@dynamo_lynn Ah I understand, so the red health bar from Dereliction and bloodlust (frenzy) chip damage gets healed once every 60 - 70 seconds by overcomming frenzy. During that window, build intrepid heart. If you get hit with intrepid heart, use a vigor wasp/potion, if you dont have intrepid heart, well....... dont die? xD
@@JoshTheMadLad Bloodlust heals off the red portion of the health bar by overcoming the frenzy virus, that's correct. But yeah I'm kind of a speedrunner so not getting hit to begin with is the goal in these videos. :p
An excellent monster, and competently handled. This is definitely among the top choices to return in Wilds, imagine herds of poor critter swept aside by the tornado club attack XD
I love Duramboros, I wish it came back. I love design, fight, and how much it screams "fight this with hammer". You can even sever its tail with a hammer.❤ 3:26 also the attack is sync with the music
One thing ive never liked about Rise is how unrewarding it is for perfect play and how unnecessarily long these fights are. You played this PERFECTLY but it still took 10 mins and there was almost no flinching animation or anything besides Kushala getting stunned. And if you didnt have everything you had on armor skills wise, this fight wouldve taken much longer. I hope Wilds doesnt go in that direction.
Keep in mind this is the end game of the end game of this game. These fights are meant to be challenging in that monsters are bulkier and flinch less to be even more relentless. Excluding Special Investigations, the rest of the game is a very well balanced for fights that shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, I think you're exaggerating.
Best description i've ever read. I honestly didn't know about Dora's lore and now i find the monster even cooler because of it. Berukyurosu have a very strong sense of pride and will do everything within their reach to preserve their honor, even committing suicide to prevent being captured. Doragyurosu, in the other hand, lose all sense of self preservation in their search for power. Zenith Dora's body is in such a degenerated state of degradation that his blood will retain trauma from the self torture. Absolutely incredible subspecies for an already very good monster. Also good to know that you changed your opinions on Tonfa and MS after trying them out, i remember you saying that you found them ridiculous in a reply to a comment asking if you were planning to speedrun with them, on that Gou Harudo video.
I don't like the additional hitlag of Fencing+2 as well as the fact that it removes blood splashes upon hitting monsters. I cannot enjoy any weapon I play in this game alongside these two things combined. I'm simply willing to drop the power boost in exchange for having normal hitlag and a visually more pleasing experience. Vampirism is just a skill that's easy to max at +2.
Always be charging? I find myself getting hit a lot because im charging waiting for openings on faster monsters, cuz of the slow walking speed while charging and the only defensive option out of a charge is to roll with rises few i frames. Like i charge, see a move coming a mile away and not be able to perfectly i frame roll it/ roll out of the way a lot of the time
I have more than a hundred videos on my channel playing with the weapon against many different monsters including those that would be called "speedy". I recommend you watch some of them to get an idea of how Hammer can perfectly defend itself in this game with basic dodges, Keeping Sway, and Water Strike.
@@user-bo1qb6cp5m Like I said in the comment before...playing offline is possible, but you gotta do a few extra things for that. Go to this discord server: /DnwcpXM488 It's the main hub for all things Frontier. You'll find info on how to set up a private server there, but you'll have to ask in setup-help about the offline thing.
Haha I see what you mean even if it's really not entirely correct! Hitting Fatalis' head does not matter much since it is immune to KO. As for the rest of the roster, Hammer is plenty capable of landing head hits!
been a while since the video release but maybe this comment still reaches you. I'm utmost grateful for all of the guides/gameplay/speedruns provided by you. i picked up hammer p much 3 mths after world release (which was also my first mh) and discovered your channel while looking for a Sunbreak Hammer guide. ever since then i almost watched every video and just felt like i was improving by either the guide itself and implementing shown/preferable movesets or just watching speedruns and implement certain stafe and movement you use. Thank you for making so thorough content about Hammer and showing everyone the path of the bonk. <3
It's perfect, good tips, nice pace of the video and in general just a very good footage to show hammer strength in real fights. Many thanks from new hammer player
Basically translating what was already said in Japanese here, you can host your own private server or join a public one. Both have its pros and cons. To learn more join the Mezeporta Square server on Discord. They've got the info you need.
