Also read the 'Born To Run 2' book to learn about what shoes you should ACTUALLY wear. (Cushiony shoes are not good for your feet).

0:13 Bro you're out-angling yourself, move your arm closer to the camera so it looks larger in comparison to your head. Also saying things like "Squats are quite bad for your back" are categorically untrue. Low-bar squats will make your back stronger, which is good for your back, and high-bar squats avoid hitting your back much. You're mentioning quite a lot of accessory lifts which aren't as necessary for beginners. I'd focus on big compounds with free-weights as a beginner, also learning how to eat enough calories and get your macros in will increase how much muscle you build by a lot. It looks like you've stayed pretty lean, but if you're willing to sacrifice that for a little while you can gain size and strength at a faster rate. Basically do a simple routine, focus on good technique, progressively increase reps and/or weight, be consistent with gym days, eat to grow, try to get a good night's sleep.
@teenage-bodybuilding
@teenage-bodybuilding 16 дней назад
This is pretty true, but it is a fact that squatting is very bad for your spine (if you are using heavy weights). I think that although you are right that accessory lifts aren't necessary for beginners, they are still useful. I think that you hit on some good points here though :)
@SubjectE57
@SubjectE57 16 дней назад
@@teenage-bodybuilding I can understand why you feel that way about squatting, for a long time lifters have avoided putting their bodies in compromised positions, especially with areas such as the back and knees. While there are risks associated with these kinds of lifts if technique is good and progression is slow enough for the joints and ligaments to strengthen you can actually reduce injury risk in the long term. Take it from someone with kyphosis who has been squatting and deadlifting for the past 20 years, or look at the latest research on the topic.

Dude it's called "Genetics"
@teenage-bodybuilding
@teenage-bodybuilding 17 дней назад
Almost everyone has good enough genetics to gain a LOT of muscle. Genetics mostly dictates how long it will take to build that muscle, not really how much muscle you can build. Even if you have really bad genetics you can still be the most jacked guy in your school if you train for enough years.

TLDR: You should do a regular cut of -500 calories/day for 10-12 weeks in order to get good abs.
@joshualofredo343
@joshualofredo343 Месяц назад
yo man i got another question, I wanna cut to get abs as fast as possible, and im at a point where i think if i do a mini cut like 2 week or 3 weeks ill have abs. But ik that eating less than 500 calories at a teen can cause stunt growth, but im just wondering if do it for a little bit like les say 2 weeks, will it really stunt my growth that badly?
@teenage-bodybuilding
@teenage-bodybuilding Месяц назад
If you fast for (I think) 72 hours, you don't have any stunting of growth. But any longer than that and your growth will be stunted. If I assume that you burn 2000 calories per day, that would be a deficit of 2x the recommended amount for a mini cut (-1000 calories per day for a mini cut). So on a mini cut (if my math is right). You should be fine for 144 hours (2x 72 hours). That's around 6 days. So you could do it for 6 days, but after that it would stunt your growth. HOWEVER: There are probably other variables at play when you do a mini cut. And besides, 1 week of fat loss won't make any visible difference. I would just recommended doing a regular cut for 10-12 weeks. I know it sounds hard, but once you get into the routine, it's actually pretty easy. That's what I'm doing right now.

Good video bro. I've started eating more meat: Chicken, Tuna, Lamb and Kangaroo, And I've researched on this aspect. Carnivore diet is okay for a short term because your body requires fibre and removing the fibre from the diet can cause Appendicitis. So I consume fibrous foods with a meat rich diet to maximise gains and overall health. Our ancestors ate complex carbohydrates along with meat everyday. And we must not forget that.

yo bro Is cardio necessary, or will it just put me at a bigger calorie deficit. N like les say i eat 2555 calories which is my maintenance, is burning 500 off on cardio the same as cutting?
@teenage-bodybuilding
@teenage-bodybuilding Месяц назад
If you used an online calorie calculator, they usually take into account the exercise that you do as a habit each week. So if you calculated your maintenance and were doing this cardio at the same time, it won't change anything. But if you have just started/want to start this as a habit, it would work. But you would have to run, like, 6k per day. That's if you just wanted to cut without dieting and just doing cardio though. You can easily get away with doing a cut without cardio. So I wouldn't worry about doing cardio too much. Although I would recommend it for general health. Does all that make sense? Or should make a video for you about this?
