Father & Sons Fishing is a metaphor for spending quality time with family and to remember that each day you're able to do is a blessing. Randy (the father) started this channel to serve as a video diary to record some of the adventures he and his sons (Alex & Ryan) get themselves into. Dude that's wrong..I am a serious sheller if that's what you want to call it..and I ALWAYS SHARE because some ppl just can't spend more time there or other places as easily as you said. Some ppl only get one opportunity in their life due to finances or physical limitations.. and who am I to be greedy and selfish to keep them from finding the best they possibly can in the one trip they can do it.. wow ..will not watch or subscribe here.
One time when I was a kid my parents took the whole family clamming. We had a blast. Only problem is the bags we used were garbage bags and my dad had two bags tied to his belt loops. Lucky for us my sister was a strong swimmer because otherwise my dad would have drown that day. I only recently realized how close a call it was.
Yeah, there are so many pizza places on the Outer Banks that we didn’t include any of the Manteo places. But we do plan on a Manteo only pizza review at some point in the future…
Where are you in this? I grew up in north Florida lots of great memories doing this when I was your sons ages. I’m now in Raleigh. I have no idea where I can go to catch these guys! Any beginners advice? Thanks In advance!
Thanks for the review of Gingerbread House. I purchased the restaurant in May 2023 when you rated the restaurant. I have since changed the crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni and welcome you to evaluate the new product. We will soon go through rebranding as well.
Thank you, Tom. I seem to recall that Gingerbread House had just opened again under new ownership at the time of my review so that all now comes full circle for me. If you've seen my other reviews of Outer Banks pizza restaurants in this video or our other two, the primary goal is to positively showcase Outer Banks pizza restaurants. Of course, I liked some pizzas more than others but my goal was always to highlight the restaurant rather than to say this place is better than that place. Unless it was one of the chains. We didn't score them very high, LOL. All of that said, and also because you mention you've changed the pizza, I remember not being blown away by the pizza. Because Gingerbread House had been closed when we reviewed in Jan. and in April, and because I saw so many comments saying that peoples' favorite place was Gingerbread House and we should try it, I reviewed it in May with anticipation of a high score. The crust was the biggest problem, IMO. At the time, it was the thickest crust of any OBX restaurant I'd reviewed, and because Bakery was in the name of the store, I was hoping for a spectacular crust and it just wasn't for me. Again, I'm only sharing this type of critique because you said that you've changed the pizza. I ended up giving the May 2023 version a 76 and while it wasn't as high a score as some others, the pizza certainly wasn't bad. If I was there on vacation, would I have it for dinner one night? Of course. If I were a local, would it be a place I ordered from every so often? Definitely. We are planning to do another Pizza Review this fall/winter. Our main focus is going to be on pizzas from non-pizza restaurants that we've previously not reviewed, but we do plan to revisit a few places and Gingerbread House will definitely be on the list!
It’s fake, when he puts the rod back together the bait ball is by his feet to the left then a second later and after a transition he’s hooked up to a fish far out to the right.
Any suggestions where to crab in Corolla? Whale head club has been suggested but scouted it and super gross looking and only a foot or two deep along docks of sound

I was in town solo to do some house repairs and landscaping work and even for me it was tough to get out and finish off the reviews, but pizza duty called and I answered the call! 😳🍕
