Did you get your EAP Heat flat iron on Black Friday? If so do you remember how they were selling it for? I ask because they are SOOOO expensive. I want to get it because it looks like a good quality ceramic flat iron but that price gives me the creeps lol
Yes!! I bought on Black Friday in 2022.. I caught it when it was either 40 or 50% off! They are definitely pricey, so I made sure to get it during one of their sales!
Thank you for the honest review. I know exactly what you mean about the product sitting. I hate when that happens cuz you always know before you finish it’s not gonna hit like it normally would!😩
Idk why ‘they’ keep coming out with these creamy heat protectants ; they’re usually all too heavy… spray me please 😂lol I understand exactly what you were trying to describe
She prob needs a second option. I rollerset and flexirod my hair a lot and i actually do like cream heat protectant for that…but i agree, silk press need liquid/water based heat protectants.
Absolutely agree! I think the cream heat protectant would be perfect for a rod/roller set but we for sure need some lighter for the silk presses & blowouts!
@@ZeneseAshleyI agree with y’all, I think this cream would go great when blowing hair to go into braids, so you can keep the moisture locked in. Otherwise, they need a serum.
The only thing about this line that really annoys me is the fact that the products expire in 6 months..smh. Thank you for the review though! Love your videos 😊
@@money-talkswithmel6455 On the back of the bottles, near the ingredients list. There’s a picture of an open jar with a number 6 inside of it that stands for 6 months.
I think the heat protectant will be helpful if you travel to a city with high humidity. I get what you mean. I think less product would make a difference but your hair looks moisturized.
Oh yeah my hair was for sure moisturized, the products definitely worked in that way! I just don’t think that heat protectant is a good product to use if you’re going for a silk press/blowout style!
Okay I’m so glad you could see it on camera the heaviness 😅 I was trying my best to explain it but I was like they are going to be like girl what are you talking about!? 😂 but yes, I filmed this last Friday and my hair is for sure already oily!
Okay yes!! You know what I’m talking about, I couldn’t really explain it but those that silk press their hair know that look of your hair clumping together… I knew from the consistency of that heat protectant it wasn’t going to do right 🤦🏾♀️ but I wanted to be thorough and give it a try!
Thank you so much for taking time to share your wedding with us. I’m in the process of planning my daughter’s wedding and this is so helpful. Right now we are debating over having the wedding at a resort or on a private beach front villa. What do you recommend?
Does hair become heat trained over time, mine still has same texture? In the summer, it only stays silky for 2 days, roots reverse back. My hair is shedding more due to the 2 textures, tips? Love your color.
HOW DID YOU GROW YOUR HAIR SO LONG ? MY HAIR IS BRA STRAP LENGTH AND I WOULD LIKE TO GROW MY HAIR TAILBONE LENGTH DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR ME ON HOW TO RETAIN MY LENGTH SO MY HAIR CAN FLOURISH DOWN TO TAILBONE LENGTH ? YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL GIRL 💯🥰💪💪THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO 🧡 BLESSINGS 🙏🏽
I like them! I actually have a review of the straightener & heat protectant here on my channel. Only con I feel like the straighting brush doesn’t get my roots as flat & straight as my flat iron. But overall pretty good!
How long is your wash day from pre-treat to finishing oil?? Im so used to having to set aside at least 4 hrs per wash day being a loose natural and i cant do it anymore - especially as a new mom. You make this look super easy!
I don’t get the point of making sure you guys put heat protecting in it if a flat iron and hot tools are still going to damage your curls. You’re a straight natural so what’s the point of putting protectant on it. Protectant is suppose to protect your hair from getting damaged and damaging your curl along with your texture and all of that’. I don’t see a point of using protectant if your a straight hair natural 🤷🏽♀️
Because although I am putting heat on my hair that doesn’t mean I want completely damaged and unhealthy hair. It is very much possible to apply heat on your hair but it still be HEALTHY.
@@ZeneseAshley I was wondering because I couldn’t tell if it was heat damage because your curls are very loose and hanging. Tbh, thats how my hair looked when I was transitioning and also had heat/color damaged. But after it all transitioned out it became thicker . I was only wondering. You learn something new everyday sis. 🌸
@@tatianaprettyy my hair is very thick, I just have a pretty loose curl pattern (3b). But yes, heat protectant is an important product to use weather you care about your curl pattern or not it’s going to help maintain the health of your hair which essentially plays into retaining length which you can see I am able to do seeing the length of my hair.
Your hair is beautiful and that color! As a straight hair natural, do you not like your curls or don't know how to manage it, that's why you decided to be a straight natural? Just wondering, and how long you've straightening it?
I used to wear my curls out a lot more when I was younger (even just a few years ago), it’s just as I’ve gotten older I love the convenience of just having my hair straight. I have a few older videos here on my channel doing my hair curly, doing twist outs, etc. As of lately it’s really just become a convenience thing.
Can you do a hair journey video? Like has your hair always been this long or did you grow it out and can you show us pictures of your journey if you did.
I love it girl! I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to do it 😂 I haven’t noticed too many differences, I think I’m just a lot more cautious about my hair getting/looking dry since my ends are so much lighter and spotting split ends a lot easier bc of the color. But so far so good! 🥰
Shell talks hair, and the Olaplex website says you should leave number 0 on for 10 minutes before adding number 3 on top . I just bought them yesterday, so I can't wait to try it.
I have the same makeup case from Amazon. I don’t think I would get this bag. Too heavy on the shoulder. But I do have their carry on luggage. However I have it in gray and wish I waited for them to release the pink. 😒
