I don't know if you've used it since but for lasting results the back of the brush is the plate so its not just tension that is required the hair must be pressed firmly against the back from start to finish.

Yeah their products definitely have a learning curve but once you get used to it… chefs kiss!!! Your hair looks really good! You did a GREAT JOB!
