The left camshaft jumped out of the timing mark as it happened to you while installing the timing belt in the video. Wasn’t sure if I could crank it back. Your video and instructions saved my ass. Thank you so much for the video!
Mine is at 165,000 I just had to change crankshaft position sensor now it's saying cam shaft sensor needs replaced. Mine is 2008 2.4 ex-l automatic it's beautiful rides out good and it's just showing codes for sensor but could be timing chain.
This is an FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator), which regulates the fuel pressure going TO the bowl, NOT an IPR (Injection Pressure Regulator), which regulates the fuel pressure coming FROM the bowl and going to the injectors. People get them confused all the time, but that doesn't help people fix their trucks.

This video was a great help man. But the big difference for me that people should be aware of is after I finally got the assembly out and cleaned it up some I was looking at the top of mine and there was no silver C ring on the top, but the new one DID have that C ring ready to install. 😱😱 My stomach dropped with the realization that I probably just tore my car apart without knowing I bought the wrong part and mine must be different. So I came back to the video repeatedly comparing that shock to mine thinking "but they look _EXACTLY_ the same in every way! How could Mercedes make two 99% identical shocks for the same vehicle except for that one miniscule difference?" So I get down and really clean out the top with brake cleaner to see just the slightest hint of the C ring around the edge of the center disk. Apparently my _bag_ didn't fail. That seal did and it plowed the disk up into the C ring. What a stupid f*cking design. If the C ring's entire purpose was to hold it in just in case exactly my failure occurred, why didn't they just _thread_ the disk into the frame, completely removing any possibility of failure happening to begin with. And obviously they thought it was possible if that stupid ring was put there in the first place. And trust me, that C ring was an absolute nightmare to get out with the disk smashed into it and not wanting to go back down. Edit: Then the strut's shaft snapped while I was trying to get the nut off and they don't sell JUST the strut. Looks like the ol benz is gonna be in the air for a week because that's the fastest they can get the whole assembly to me. And of course the whole assembly is 3x the price. FML

My van battery dead, can’t shift into neutral, with the van blocking the other 2 cars! Wife’s friend was nice took her to work and daughter has a Dr appt this afternoon. Oh no! I scoured the Internet and could not find anything useful. Until I came upon this video. Your video helped me move the van to the side so that the other 2 cars are now accessible. Yay! May your favorite ice cream always be in stock.
I thought this was an excellent video on how to do this. I would only add one VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY prerequisite: Always disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system. If you don’t, you may get a RUDE SHOCK when you go to disconnect the cable that has the 10mm nut. Perhaps you could edit the video to I cluse that at the beginning. Anyway, great job and God bless.
Hi good video but, I have a quick question on this nissan 4.0 after I removed the tensioner I did not notice any gasket or rtv. Does it require or gasket or rtv?
@@GeneralMechanicGA Thank You because I am so confused that it did not come with anything and I was concerned about leaks. I thought that I should put some gasket maker. My old tensioners came out clean without any gasket or silicone.
I replaced this relay with one I bought at autozone. I have correct pressure in the compressor system. How possible could it be that I got a bad relay when I got the new one at autozone. Should I go buy one from somewhere else?
@@cesarrubio1059 it wasn’t my relay. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. I’m taking it in to the shop next Wednesday. I can let you know what it ends up being sometime after next Wednesday when I get it fixed.
no way would i bring my car or truck to you putting cheap parts in and hacking parts plus you dont release the car or truck to customer with same concern when it came in your a hack.

Here in 2024! Im a car chic, thank u soooo much! Had replaced ignition swtch and still nothing. Checked wires and they were goodI put my shift in nuetral and it sarted right up! I
I went through all the fuses, tested on a conductivity meter setting. Good tone, and installed a new relay. My compressor clutch still won’t engage. It was sudden. I guess I check the Freon next.
Same on my 08 sold it back to dealer they put it right out on the lot for 2000 more somebody just got screwed never buy a honda compete garbage never ending money pits
