Hello! And welcome to my RU-vid Channel! I'm some kid from Wisconsin, and I like filming various car washes around the state of Wisconsin. Ever since I was young, I've always had a passion for the intricate machinery of these machines, so I have started photographing and recording various types of Car Wash Machines. This channel is a great way for me to practice my Photography Skills and Videography skills, while getting to be around the machinery I have a passion for at the same time! Thank you for taking the time to check my channel out, and I hope you enjoy!

We a had a car wash very similar to this in Riviera Beach Fl. back in the '70's, it was called Rain Tunnel Car Wash, and it had the red pin wheel brushes just like this. You could stand outside and watch your car being washed through a plexiglass window. For some reason, when the machines and brushes would turn on, it made the loudest noise. Fond memories.
We’re by before the weekend and we are so excited about it being there at about that so I will have to rain tomorrow and I’ll okay we’re but it’s no problem at night time and then
It has been permanently closed as of July, I will post photos on my community page of its current state. It may be removed by now, but I am pretty sure it's still in the bay. It will eventually be removed as the owners of the station are planning to use it for more C-Store space.
Its on Park Place BLVD But last the last time I was here, which was in November 2023, the system had no air and all the brushes were folded in, and I am unsure if it is even still there.
Yeah I would for sure not put my moms car or a newer car through this thing. Now if I go to Houston next summer, MAYBE my car which is scratched to high heven or a older rental car is possible but I would have to analize it in person before making any desisions.
@@WisconsinCarWashChannel This car wash shut down when my dad was in High School back in the 90's. If you are looking for a Hydro-Spray, there is one in Plain that you can go through. Just went through it on Friday. If you do ever want to go through it, it only takes cash and the top wash is $12. By the way, it is not the classic one, it is the gantry version.
Don't know, you should check on it. It may be replaced with a Laserwash now. Even if it is closed, take a video around the bay and through the door windows.
GREAT video, I cannot say that enough. It's cool to see Kwik Trip branch out and use these, although the brush pattern could be improved to more show the branding of red and black.
Nice! It’s weird that they installed this instead of the typical Mark VIIs. Well, not so typical anymore. Now they’re being installed with the different gantry lights, the optional lava shine, and the LED lights.
Did you ever get the backroom videos, or check if there are any old scrap parts? It's absolutely okay if you haven't gotten around to it yet, I understand how busy maintaining and dealing with a carwash is.
It was chosen because our car wash team at Kwik Trip wanted to try out a different company so we weren’t just relying on Mark Vii but this wash is nowhere near as good as the mark Vii and the techs have told us that they don’t even make these anymore
@@excelwashes_4u That’s what I heard from our car wash project manager. He used to work for Ryko so I think he knows what he’s talking about but it also confused me why they still have it up on the site
@@jonathanfoster2234 The Maxx 3's are still made. If you're still looking to try out systems other than the Mark VII's, bring up an Istobal Flex 5 system with the team. They're also European such as Mark VII (WashTec's US subdivision), and are loaded with multiple more features.
@@WisconsinCarWashChannel Thanks for the recommendation I will definitely bring up the Istobal machine next time I see my car wash lead. Maybe he just told me they’re discontinued cause he’s really unhappy with our experience with the Max x 3 since the dryers are awful and it takes way longer than the Mark VII
Haha! I was so nervous that you were gonna kick me out of the bay when I saw you. Great to know at least SOMEONE at Kwik Trip is enthusiast friendly. If you want I can blur your face out, didn't realize it was you.
