A RU-vid Channel hosting an eclectic collection of vintage videos, painstakingly digitised from my VHS tape archive as well as other similar themed material garnered from friends.
The channel is back after a long hiatus. As requested I will upload a lot more new content over the coming weeks and months. In due course, the plan is to reupload most of the material in HD quality. I will continue to upload videos without a watermark as my purpose for propagating this material is to educate my viewers and not borne out of a self aggrandisement motive.
Kudos to the amazing performers and personalities in these videos who have educated and enthralled me over the years!

Hemant Kumar ji was no less a singer than Mohd Rafi, Mukesh and Talat Mahmood. That he could compose such beautiful tunes apart from being such a superb singer is amazing. He was grossly underrated.

Even when he "trailed off" he was still unbelievable. In the 91 series against australia he was the best bowler for west indies and was getting a lot of top australian batsman out.
I cant believe it... How he is reluctant to take credit for the great songs like O Duniya ke rakhwale saying that it's based on the raga which he did not make.... every song, which is classically strong is based on some raga or another and their is nothing wrong in using it...its like borrowing a colour palate of someone else to create your own painting ... What a Gem...
