There's one stupid thing on the CS6R...the front pots are NOT set set for ADSR and Reso/Cutoff as a common start point, they connected them to...EQ-bands instead. So you can't really shape the sound (like on the keyboard version), you are forced to set the ADSR+Reso/Cutoff manually, for every single sound, from the EQ-band settings...a very annoying thing, so I sold mine, which hurt me a bit.
I still have mine, just had the lead on the power supply repaired, apart from the 3/4 size keys and the need for loads of batteries? it still works fine, can't seem to want to get rid of it, also, still have the original box. Great little synth.
Record it into Cubase like you would a Microphone or other standard synth. Not sure how Cubase works but I'd imagine you're running the XV through an audio interface that's connected to your PC. Set that audio interface as an input on Cubase, then record with that audio input and it'll pick up and lay down any sounds you make with it.
Missed out on one for $50, now the toe rag who bought it, is trying to resell it for almost $500. I guess it’s a waiting game. There was also a CT-6500 for sale recently for $150.
Hi, your video is so relaxing 🙂 Not an expert in electronics, still I'm listening to it from time to time, just to hear the vibe of an era and to chill. Thank you for sharing 🙏🎧🎶
How much did you get it for? Someone local to me is selling a casionote 403 for €180 it's not exactly cheap. I was looking at a cheap Ct 401 but it was too far to go.
Are these all user patches like the caption says? Or are they factory with maybe some tweaks? If they are user patches sell them. They are great. I would pay.
I had this keyboard back in the early 80s. Sounds were so weedy and when you connected it to an amp, there was a background buzz/hum that was so annoying.
I had one when I was a kid. Here's my version of Axel F (with mistakes!) from the early 80s, which I recorded onto tape, then digitised years later: drive.google.com/open?id=1xvASjdfwxZFlCc57gMZa8uyYagdwh9-e&usp=drive_fs
