Some fantastic User-Patches from my Roland XV-5080 Synthesizer. No other FX...pure XV! The XV-5080 is one of my favorite Synthesizers....really great Machine with Soul!! The most Patches are playing with JV-1080/2080 too! Have fun!!
LotR! I got a 5050. They are cheap as dirt and can handle two XLR boards, which is quite enough for me. Would love to have a Fantom X7 though. Some of the later sounds (10:30) remind me of Panzer Dragoon and PD SAGA.
Funny. I had a JD-990, which someone sold for €500, but I sold it to a friend in the USA (it had a North American PSU), who replaced the screen. I think I'll eventually end up with an Integra-7. It seems logical, because it's the culmination of Roland's sound modules, and very likely the last one they'll ever produce.
Two different animals. The XV is natural, modern, organic, wet. The JD has limited (more like synth, less like sampler) palette and the very unique filter sound.
Record it into Cubase like you would a Microphone or other standard synth. Not sure how Cubase works but I'd imagine you're running the XV through an audio interface that's connected to your PC. Set that audio interface as an input on Cubase, then record with that audio input and it'll pick up and lay down any sounds you make with it.
Hello Jean! I only connect the Roland XV-5080 to my Focusrite scarlett 6i6...playing live...and cut it with my Steinberg Wavelab LE11 Software...that's all. Thanks!
Are these all user patches like the caption says? Or are they factory with maybe some tweaks? If they are user patches sell them. They are great. I would pay.
