Awesome! I’m a really big fan of your channel! I can’t believe That you caught some amazing steam engines in the past! Wish I saw this channel Years ago!
This might be a random question but what was the music you used in your intro from your first videos because I remember a video featuring tvrm 610 that had that audio for its intro but I can't find it anywhere
Nice video! The locomotive was actually rebuilt for the Coos Bay Rail Line in Oregon, but that railroad canceled the rest of their order before taking delivery of this unit. Explains the blue and green paint scheme.
The EK will live on my EK sub layout and it will be used for freight trains and a amtrack train will run from hazard to Winchester called the amtrack engineer
Awesome video buddy I was there down at east end of pauly and I got him to wish I was down by the crossing with ya as the rear passed the crossing I seen ya get in your car and I said “we’ll look there there’s Jacob riley it was a awesome time that day bud!
Thanks! I had no idea that it was even coming through. I was driving back home from West Virginia and heard the horn going through Pikeville so I decided to go investigate and was very surprised when that came around the curve!
@@JacobRiley1999 exactly what happened with me I heard is horn in the Walmart parking lot he was so slow and he never made it so we went down to the sewers part it looked like he had just started moving he was slower then he was already idk why he was going so slow but he was a big surprise
I love when Irvine and the EK gets a rare train also all the crossings are crossbuck only the 1st crossing with signals on the EK is millers creek which the rails have been cut off
At least there’s a train every once in a while through Irvine cus KY steam is a customer on CSX the only customer on the EK between Winchester and hazard
The 103 is a former UP E-Unit that later went to the Wisconsin Southern for their OCS. Of course after that it went to Iowa Pacific and we know what happened there.
It’s a very interesting Railroad this is one of the only two RailRoads I know that use the color purple the other railroad I know of was the Atlantic coast line railroad?
I believe that the subsidiary roads of the ACL such as the Charleston & Western Carolina as well as the Columbia Lauren's & Newberry used purple paint.
Great work. I was hoping to find out about these trains earlier in the week. What is the best source for information, as I look forward to next year. I hadn't planned to follow them the whole way, just wanted a couple of shots as they passed through Midway. Thanks!
