On February 16, 2024 I decided to venture into Appalachia to see what I could find. In Matewan, West Virginia I stumbled upon a Lite Locomotive NS 4629 an AC44C6M. On my way home from West Virginia I passed through Pikeville, Kentucky and heard a horn so I decided to investigate. I ran up to Coal Run Village and was very pleased to see CSX 1853 the newly painted New York Central Heritage Unit pop around the corner leading empty Duke Power Coal Train E403.

Awesome video buddy I was there down at east end of pauly and I got him to wish I was down by the crossing with ya as the rear passed the crossing I seen ya get in your car and I said “we’ll look there there’s Jacob riley it was a awesome time that day bud!

Thanks! I had no idea that it was even coming through. I was driving back home from West Virginia and heard the horn going through Pikeville so I decided to go investigate and was very surprised when that came around the curve!

@@JacobRiley1999 exactly what happened with me I heard is horn in the Walmart parking lot he was so slow and he never made it so we went down to the sewers part it looked like he had just started moving he was slower then he was already idk why he was going so slow but he was a big surprise
