Hey, check out the specs on fiberglass insulation! The paper backing actually offers no vapor resistance and is just an easier form factor to install because the paper allows you to handle the insulation with minimal contact! But, something we did learn in this process is that before putting on the subfloor it is valuable to install a 3-5mm plastic vapor barrier to help waterproof the insulation during the building process. I do have a question with your electric did u do it your self or had a company do it. My husband and I wants to build but we are low income so with building something like this what do you suggest solar for electric, or do you have 220s like did you install by a manual. Also with the tile as floating does that mean it doesn’t have any material underneath and also compost toilet how does it work and does it have its own tank can you explain more with your part twos I can pull them up sadly
Jacob did the electric. If you did solar would it not be a moving tiny house? Tile was laid on top of subfloor and I think an underlayment. Compost toilets have a removable bucket that you empty for pee and a storage area to hold compost and other waste. Definitely look into them! They’re quite pricey, and toward the end of our time living there it was quite tiring to use it, but it served its purpose and got us through.
not one to comment on these videos since everyone’s opinionated or wants to comment on labor/ birth but i took a labor and delivery class through everyday miracles since wic referred me :) and the doula told me “natural birth” is not unmedicated it’s unmedicated or medicated it’s what makes you comfortable cause there’s such a stereotype and stigma on “what natural birth is” and btw a doula is very professional so i wouldn’t argue ❤ i will have a doula at my birth that’s medicated ❤ and there’s nothing wrong with medication nothing at all wrong some need it to feel comfort and not pain! i can’t do pain i literally throw up 😭 so that’s why no judge or shame on those who wanna be all unmedicated! you do you :) wish you the best mama please don’t take this comment the wrong way as a hateful or ignorant way i never intended it to be that way 🥹
I tried to make a point to mention that I was doing a natural and unmedicated birth. I stated both because I do think ideas can vary. Though all the research I’ve done concludes that natural often means unmedicated. I don’t think either way is necessarily better than the other! I am a firm believer that whichever makes you most comfortable to give birth: hospital/birthcenter/homebirth, medication/no medication, etc is the best decision since your setting should make you most comfortable in order to have a more efficient and less stressful labor. I hope the rest of your pregnancy, labor, and delivery is smooth and what you hope for!!! You got this!

$500 is a bargain for the tiny house base. Here in Australia it's not easy to get this type so have to get made is $15,900 just for that 😩 u guys did an incredible job

It can! I used this at the age my daughter could sit up in a cart and such. This is just one helpful way to do things, but I wouldn’t carry her all day in it! Just to get us to a place quicker or something like that.

Does it not feel like she will fall down out of the bottom of the fabric? The whole ‘slide the bottom fabric between yourself and baby’s diaper’ doesn’t sound very secure 🤔
So hippie Joey goes by exact measurements to ensure the perfect size. I will say they are supposed to be snug though! If it’s too tight I’d recommend returning and getting the next size up
