Hey Jater Tots! It's Kate! I'm 39 weeks pregnant and just a couple of days from my due date. I'm going back to the same birth center I went to for my first birth and am so much more hopeful this time! Please let me know if you have any tips or questions and if you think of it, please pray for us!!!!!
It's been so long, and I've missed being able to sit down and do fun videos! Please forgive the video quality- next time it'll be better.

Later when you give birth, record it from contractions until the baby is born

Haha we will not be recording it. We tried last time and it just a memory I needed to hold onto. Photos after were enough!

not one to comment on these videos since everyone’s opinionated or wants to comment on labor/ birth but i took a labor and delivery class through everyday miracles since wic referred me :) and the doula told me “natural birth” is not unmedicated it’s unmedicated or medicated it’s what makes you comfortable cause there’s such a stereotype and stigma on “what natural birth is” and btw a doula is very professional so i wouldn’t argue ❤ i will have a doula at my birth that’s medicated ❤ and there’s nothing wrong with medication nothing at all wrong some need it to feel comfort and not pain! i can’t do pain i literally throw up 😭 so that’s why no judge or shame on those who wanna be all unmedicated! you do you :) wish you the best mama please don’t take this comment the wrong way as a hateful or ignorant way i never intended it to be that way 🥹

I tried to make a point to mention that I was doing a natural and unmedicated birth. I stated both because I do think ideas can vary. Though all the research I’ve done concludes that natural often means unmedicated. I don’t think either way is necessarily better than the other! I am a firm believer that whichever makes you most comfortable to give birth: hospital/birthcenter/homebirth, medication/no medication, etc is the best decision since your setting should make you most comfortable in order to have a more efficient and less stressful labor. I hope the rest of your pregnancy, labor, and delivery is smooth and what you hope for!!! You got this!
