You also have to brush it 1-2 times a week, add algecide weekly, backwash your pump, skim everyday, the list goes on I don’t recommend a pool to people that are lazy or don’t have enough time. I’ve got a couple of friends that drain and fill their 24 foot by 54in pool a few times a month cause they’re too lazy to keep up with it they rather the water bill be expensive for the summer months then to up keep it for the summer
Mom always check the water, but I don't know why it's just snowing because the last time I was green check it out and it was green dark green. She checked the water.
Add algecide and scrub bottom and side walls run pump for 48 hours then vacuum to waste and then top off water that went to waste test water and add chlorine tabs. Don’t just keep shocking pool it won’t work if all your numbers are off
Well - mine has been cloudy for 2 weeks.. ph is perfect.. high chlorine because I shocked it now I’ve used flock! 2 days.. Cloudy I have brushed it every day, ran and changed filter- Dead algae collected and vacuumed- Cloudy still! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
There is a cap on the top of the chlorinator, you should pop the small cap off, remove the bolt on top, the press tap and twist off. If not you will reduce the life and mess up the seal.
what I do know is,I've read quite alot of reviews about these steps, including pics from people reviewing them, and way more positive than negative. All are saying they are very sturdy, and I know I do not feel safe at all climbing these steps that came with the pool. My daughter can get in the pool for cleaning it of any bugs. I have not been able to get in,till we order the steps. We are getting ready to build the outside steps from pallet wood. The water man comes to fill the pool the rest of the way this week as our well cant ,its too much water. The steps have to be able to handle the weight of the guys, and from what I;m seeing-it can..
No one is answering the question of the pump losing prime when vacuum is connected. Air gets in and the gauge reads 9 and the hoses are trembling. What’s the remedy for that?

I have this exact model, the strainer lid has an o-ring, do you know the part/model#? On Amazon, I keep finding: 354533 Is that accurate for this model? Please and thank you!
I only backwashed for a few min. then had a scum layer of dusty crap un my pool and had to drain and start again. pulled out the ziolite and put in a tub, ran water for about an hour still didnt come out clean. replaced sand and backwashed for another hour, that finally fixed it.
Thank you for the video! We bought a house with a pool, and I tried several times last year to use a similar vacuum, but never got it to work, and there were no instructions on how to use it. Now that I know what needs to be hooked up, I'm going to get my pool vacuumed out today!
I'm about to set up my 1hp motor double (Sand filter 15" + cartridge 70 gpm) filtration system with a 18kw heater and a clorinador. In what order do you guys recomend to set it up?, meaning Sand first or cartridge first and what next? Do I also have to put up a shut off valve in between every item on the line? I may sound dumb but excuse me, it's my first time setting up a pool. Thank you, I appreciate any help you guys could give me.
It’s funny I had a video get almost a million views and haters for picking at the pool wall. My mistake was not explaining that the pool was being redone like you did
Placing one just slightly above the vacuum and another toward the top of your water. You might have to adjust them differently based on your water levels.
I have tried keeping my waterfall on and have lots of floats in pool. I started with 2 ducks the 3 now four. I need to get rid of them they are messy. I’m ordering moving owls to see if it will work. There has to be a real way to get rid of them all together. Ducks are winning.
Good luck with those owls! I haven’t had an issue with ducks in quite awhile, but there was one year they showed up on occasion. Let me know how it goes!
@@easyclearpool fingers crossed. The female duck hasn’t been here so I think she might be nesting on her eggs somewhere else. I had to get someone to really clean my pool good. It started looking greenish brown and they always poop on the side of the pool and in the pool. We’ve had the pool for a year only. Plus they like it because it’s a salt water pool. ❤️
The app is called Pool Pal, however may not be available anymore and I now would recommend Pool Math by Trouble free pool. Search for it in your App Store. Thanks for watching!
@@easyclearpool I learned from that endeavor that my pump is definitely to weak. 2 hours of pumping and it still didn't clear out all of the water on the cover.
