If you need to lower your alkalinity, you'll need to raise your pH and lower it again all while not affecting alkalinity levels. Aeration is a great way to succeed at this, and with this method, it can be done quite quickly.
I diy it. I made my return jet more narrow with PVC so it shoots above water line. So its like a fountain but high volume of water . It works great I see a lot of bubbles.
