I had a coworker whose parents lived in Windsor. He was really upset about the fire...... and how his inheritance went up in smoke. Yes, some people are that shallow.
Please make more of these types of documentary films. I’ve watched numerous documentaries about cali fires, put out by frontline and other channels, and this one is the most informative, intriguing and unbiased. Thank you for sharing this story in the way you did, keep up the great work 💯
Just a story- until you watch this in it’s entirety, the sheriff was convincing to me and the personnel seemed truly engaged. Was a really good video and I’m convinced they gave beyond what they are paid for👍👏👏🫰🏻
Allowing nature to just be, and unmanaged will get you large fires. Look back to older images of the national forests. You could see through the trees. Controlled burning and management of the undergrowth was vital.
A circumstance question of the aforementioned infant soared to the inside of the aforementioned air, the first person was struck over a specifying glorious experience
Well done these folks to survive and learn from the first big fire, adapt and come back stronger. This is the new norm. When will ever be the right time to talk about the elephant in the room?
As promised I am now responding having watched this documentary I find that the substance is accurate. Yes this was an unqualified disaster that would have been far worse but for the combined efforts of all emergency responders. Fire takes the lead as it is a fire emergency. The addition of Police and EMS to alert the public of the danger they were in was great further providing fire more resources to commit to the firefight.👍👍👍
For the balanced individual spiritual development is a fact of life. Like those in the police and military have an advocate in St. Michael the Archangel, so too does he assist firefighters who ask. In addition, there is a unique prayer to St. Joseph; foster father of Jesus the Christ. “According to oral tradition, whoever reads this prayer or hears it or carries it, will never die a sudden death, nor be drowned, nor will poison take effect on them. They will not fall into the hands of the enemy NOR BE BURNED IN ANY FIRE, nor will they be defeated in battle.” Pieta Book. The prayer was said to be founded in the fiftieth year of our Lord, Jesus Christ. In the 1500’s it was sent by a Pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. It sounds a bit like a talisman … but it’s not. It’s asking St. Joseph …assisted by angels in the responsibility for the physical safety of the Holy Family. Look it up. Prayer to St. Joseph: O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong ….. O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for me. Amen
It's seems like California has the worst case of major brush fires every year. Case in point lack of management in forest and power company lack of management and maintenance
It's called chem trails. The particles that are sprayed are aluminum, bairrium and others that fall to the ground and cover the vegetation and structures then ignite as if it was covered in gunpowder. No wonder these fire are burn like they never did before....... Chem trails
This was bad one i remember Colorado sending a whole wildfire team with trucks & everything for nearly a month. We understand how devastating these fires are. Its not like other faster healing weather event's these fires take decades to recover from. God bless all firefighters & their families & thank you for your service. ❤
Been sent to California the last 3 years of fire season.... it amazes me everytime when my crew leaders are non stop dealing with decades old Debris that should have been cleared years ago.
Ever heard of ember clouds? That's what starts spot fires. The hot embers landed on that truck bed and ignited the combustible materials on it . The houses look to be burning only on the inside because the roof is already gone but the walls are still standing so it's acting like a chimney and drawing air in through window and door openings to feed the fire inside and the hot gasses are leaving through the top. There is no conspiracy here . Its just the way fire and heat works.
There is no forest in Santa Rosa I was a wildland firefighter outer lake county for 3 years never seen nothing like this before you should have seen the blue beam coming down from the sky let's just say there was a lot of DEW in the air
Not all fires are bad. Some plants that wouldn't otherwise sprout need fire. Most fires if caught early, wouldn't become out of control. When a fire is reported,or you see smoke, some where there is fire. However,it's up to the fire departments to respond. i saw smoke, reported what I'd seen, and could smell it, the guy called me a liar, and didn't even go look!
