There is so much misinformation out there that women are being sucked into. We need to scream the message loud and clear: build muscle for longevity and health. So wonderful to have women talk about lifting

Yet men just want the same woman they chose when younger and both horney, but instead God chose to reduce the pleasure of most over 50 woman and then this change in the woman's sexual needs till the men are feeling guilty for expecting "some" sexual intimacy, and then have to live in a sexless relationship, my advice stay single or get a younger girlfriend. Do we really need the constantly changing head games, no pun intended from marrying one woman? Awaiting the comments from old woman who expect their men to keep changing just to "understand" their constant changes. I gave up and never happier being single!

Well patience and compassion is clearly lacking here. Good on you to know that you don't have the ability to be a partner. You gotta respect a man that knows his limitations. But since studies have shown married men live longer ... good luck to you.

I’m in the middle of listening to this podcast! And wow! I am loving it! Thank you ladies for bringing such a vital discussion to the forefront. We are way overdue on getting such discussions out there. Our sexual health is as important as “you name it”-- cardiovascular health, brain health…etc Education and more education please! Learning about the intricacies of our amazing bodies as it relates to sexual health should start in elementary school and a focus on helping parents have this discussion with their young children and teens as well. Much love to you both 🩵🌸 Can’t wait to read the book, You Are Not Broken 🙏

Wow that’s pricy! I don’t know where you live, but I traveled to the border to get the vaginal estrogen. 15-20 per tube depending which pharmacy you get it at. Estradiol 2 mg for 45$ (I take 1/2 daily) and just got Testosterone gel LowTiyel for $50 which will last me a very long time since I only use.1mg, started it yesterday. I stocked up. It’s disappointing that it can be difficult to get here in the states.
@yvettebennett6170

@maridelatorre9444 Yes I agree that what I pay is very pricey. I live in Texas and that is through my insurance. It's ridiculous and does not include the rest of my hormone replacement. The tube lasts me around 3-4months...

It is really disheartening when you tell your doctor what's going on and SHE herself is around your age, but she is looking at you like ahhh, I don't know about this, it's really surprising of how in the dark they are about perimenopause

I had a friend - doctor - she was an ER doctor at the time AND former GYN. She did not believe that women got cramps during period. As a hardcore feminist, she insisted women just made it up in order to get pity 🙈. She never experienced them, so not only did she deny their existence, she silently judged patients for mentioning them.

Funny that you comment on pronunciation. I am an older Australian and something I often notice that English is becoming an Americanised hybrid. When to my perception English for Americans is almost a second language. American pronunciation is often quite comical.

So is it true that women need 25g of fiber a day? I'm having a lot of digestive issues lately at 49. I've tried more fiber and magnesium to help. It worked for awhile, but I'm stuck again! It's horrible! I'm a very fit 49 year old women. Been lifting for years. 4'9 only about 90-93lb. Does the amount differ per size of a person?

Thank you! This is amazing. A zoom in on too much fiber would be great. Its why carnivore works for so many people. I am in that bucket but love veggies and fiber :(. Working progeess. On that note I'm fully focused on producing exciting content for my newsletter, which is focused on the microbiome and if you dont mind i might link this interview in my next release Dr Estima YourpHLevel newsletter **gut microbiome and health** 🧬✨. This recent discussion was incredible, and the deeper I dive, the more I realize just how crucial **fiber** is to our overall health-and that's just the beginning! 🌱 Right now, I’m exploring the **effects of medication** on the gut, and wow, it’s such a fascinating area that’s still in its infancy 👶. I have to as a pharmacist at my core ;) There's so much more to discover keep at it with these amazing discussions. We are not bunnies is correct 💯

I think it’s astounding that so many doctors can profoundly lack education on the second half of a woman’s life. From mid 30’s to the end of your life for some women, this has to change. Meanwhile, thank goodness for all of the startups that will help you get the treatment and prescriptions you need.
