There's nothing here that we didn't all work out at the time, but its useful to get what documentation there was from the freedom of information requests and see the amount of misinformation that was used.
Ian's video was so informative, as pilots we knew it was all rubbish, the media are all about jumping on the bandwagon when a story starts going viral ... 'don't let the facts get in the way of a good story'! 🤫
Why did this happen? Because of the multi million pound cottage industry of uav security that now exists. You can't sell your vaporware if there's no threat.
Really clearly documented video . Good job Gentleman . On the other hand the airoport incompetent servants and mostly the police explanatios are a laughing stock . "Military grade .....bkah blah " ......this show how incompetent they actually are regarding the cameras drones use nowadays . Lets get example : DJI H20N or the DJI H30T cameras . Fire every single one of those incompetent fat cats ! They're useless anyway . The new " Drone law " is a galactic size mess . The police made a law for themselves and can harass every drone pilot when they please having no competence whatsoever .
Something very wrong when free speech is prevented by those who seemingly do not want the truth to be shown. I am not sure exactly who those powers are that have sufficient powers to do so and why they are so afraid that they have to prevent a speaker from being heard (and indeed an individual who so many people would want to hear) but their actions have simply help confirm my and many others as to the coverup that has and still is happening re the Gatwick Drone fiasco.
The story that killed my hobby. And it keeps coming back to haunt us. Because of the damage that it has done is why I refuse to ever register. Thanks, Gary, for the video
If presenting them in future some of the busier ones will be spread out over a number of slides. I'd expected a projector screen for a conference and most of the fonts are actually the default size PowerPoint suggests.
Disgusting how zealous the authorities jumped on this weak and doubtful 'spotting' of a drone at Gatwick. How any evidence was obscured and hidden, how authorities outright lied to re-enforce the bad-actor story.
Bloody well done. As a professional speaker, I would gladly speak to any audience, free of charge, to keep our hobby and the good men amongst us grow strong during these difficult times. 😊
This is very good to see, I really appreciate people willing to stand up to all the nonsense and seek the truth. The last few minutes of this were articulated excellently and are so important
interesting vid! based on my own experience and antenna building for ADSB, I have to disagree that dimensions and measurements are less critical for receive only antennas. I still use VSWR and return loss as a measure of antenna efficiency and have noticed that a dipole with a 1:1 VSWR match immediately picks up more aircraft at greater ranges than an identical one with a 1.5:1 match. it took me 4 tries to make a working J pole on frequency with an impedance match lol. worth it for the experience but after a dozen antenna builds, I'm still not convinced that anything works better than a well tuned 1/4 wave ground plane or a half wave dipole that I use as reference antennas and antenna height above ground seems to be the most critical single component.
Hey guys, I just got my Specta Mini 4k on Amazon. Price: $269 No owner's manual No Qr code No quick start guide Only 2 total props No prop guards No carrying bag Also, no DJI REFRESH CARE OPTION! So, I couldn't find a Specta fly app on Google Play Store I did contact Cojito through their website, and surprisingly, they sent me a pdf file for the manual and a Qr code for the fly app Also, not entirely lost in translation, Cojito, kind of apologized for not receiving a manual and a Qr code and now I am about to give it a whirl. Wish me luck
You guys are cracking it, Gary! 161 views! Granted, a tough sell for Josh with FPV outlaw influencer Bruce on the panel - "We don't need no stinkn' compliance from the FAA to fly over people". Not a good look pairing up with the biggest drone outlaw on the planet while promoting a product designed to follow FAA rules.
The DJI commissioned independent costing put US Network Remote ID as costing $560 million PER YEAR over 10 years. So the UK business case is misleading by omission, with mentioning a cost of $29.5m, although it uses the term hybrid as the UK proposal is for Network RID it's misleading as there's no elaboration nor mention of the like for like Network RID cost.
A document originating from the (ex)Tory government suggesting that something doesn't need to go out to tender...SPOOK!!!.... It would be interesting to trace beneficiaries.
Recruiting kids into the Corporate War Machine while manufacturing consent to leverage the children as the fleshy inner workings of weapon systems, is the entire point of the American Empire. RR is just doing that thing that American business interests quietly changed the word "patriotism" to actually mean, once they saw how profitable WW's were.
