Trensettahs Sound System is a collective of musicians, DJ's, Singers, MC's, and conscious progressive people. We are worldwide but mainly our homes are in Addis Ababa, Kingston, Miami, DC, Cali Colombia, and Shashamene. There is an album, a collection of 10 riddims, each with multiple songs, that makes the Black Sounds of Freedom. There is a Festival that moves to different locations in Africa, surrounding the holy days of Rasta. There is a docuseries and a full length documentary that tells the story of Black Sounds of Freedom. The documentary and docuseries travel to these locations and share the experience on the continent and in the diaspora with artists creating the soundtrack to resistance.
