Even though it's technically VAR, he actually relies on the semi-automated offside technology, which the referee has no authority over, unlike penalty checks that a referee can choose to ignore. Anytime a player receives the ball on the opposite side of the field, the system checks whether that player is onside or offside, and an offside is called when it occurs, which makes it a reliable tool for Flick, as no human bias can affect it

Sure the VAR but also depends on strict defensive line .. making sure their positions ALL are correct and not one drifting off line allowing someone the junp
