Finaly gonna do my full ac service on monday my only problem rn is the bower motor turns on when it wants to. When i start the car it works somtimes and other times i start it and nothing. I replacedes the resistor and blower motor cause the motor as already giving to much resistance and well might as well do the resiator but its still not turning on
Hi, if you have replaced everything already, then you may wish to check for resistance or corrosion at the plugs and connection points or shorts in cabling.
Hello Masood, I had a new Bosch fuel pump installed last week, W210 E320 petrol. I hear the noise when I stand next to the car. Is that normal for it to make noise?
Hi, you should not hear any unusual noises from the fuel pump except at startup as you move the key to position 2, .remove the cover, get close, and see where it is coming from.
Great video Honda dealer near me service manager said filters don't ever need to be changed. Sorry but not buying off on that. I bought a 2015 CRV AWD from a friend of mine he changed the transmission fluid every 25,000 miles and used Honda fluids but never changed the filters. Dealer convinced him it didn't need to be done. I have all Honda parts and fluids and will be changing it all out at 94,500 miles. I'll clean the MAF sensor while I'm at it.
If you have to add fluid you probably need brakes don't add fluid until you check your brake pads. If the brake caliper pistons are open the fluid goes down
My symptoms are different, it doesn't lock in P, but sometimes the gearbox goes into a strange mode while driving. As if it got stuck in one gear and stops switching. When stopping the car, I cannot switch from N to R or P. Only when I turn it off can I switch to P and when I start it again, everything returns to normal for some time. Can anyone suggest what could be the reason?
I have a 2004 Mercedes S500 with over 190K miles. The front of the car has dropped, and I haven't checked for leaks, but I think it's time to replace the shocks. I watched your video, and it looks like a doable DIY project. Thanks for explaining everything so clearly!
Great video! Thank you so much! I did this a couple of years ago but I did not know that you could utilize the engine cradle to brace the bar for the special tool.
This is a Reper you DONT have done at the oil change place, jsut go to an auto parts store, some will do it for free, I just did, they charged 25 bucks for the filter.
@masood-tv Hi, love your tutorials. Could you explain how you removed and reinstalled the ball joint that connects the link rod to the control arm? Did you just position it in the according hole and torqued the nut on?
Will these filters affect the coldness or warm air flow u am having in my driver side AC flow. I have filled the unit eith 134a and sll seems well- but u get a warm accumulation on the driver side as I drive - a gradual rise.?? Can you give me some input. Thank you
Great video and instructions. Please next time turn down the music or eliminator completely for it is hard to decipher what you say at your low tone voice thank you.
Sorry, I don't have the current part numbers, but if you visit their site and enter the year and model of your car, you can get the correct part numbers.
My brake pedal sinks after changing the front brake calipers. They have changed the brake master cylinder, they have bled the ABS module with a scanner and it remains the same. I can't find the problem, any ideas?
@@masood-tv There are no leaks in the circuit, the brake fluid level is always at the same level. It has to be something else but I can't figure it out. Thanks.
I don't like to dish out advice remotely and potentially steer a viewer in the wrong direction. Is there any braking power? You can test if the pads grip with a helper braking and you at the front driver wheel, and repeating this at each wheel to see if calipers move to isolate the problem. Also, if you decide to flush and bleed the system, I have other videos that make the process faster with two people. And, be sure to use the right fluid...
@@masood-tv yes the van have brake power. But if I keep presión in the brake pedal go to the end. But in a normal brake not happen, only in a strong brake or if you keep presión in the brake pedal, at the end go to the bottom.
I know everyone says to put more than you took out, then get it to operating temperature specific range then take it the extra. I usually measure exactly how much came out, then put back the same amount. I make sure all the fluid that comes out gets collected. And the whole thing about when the fluid heats up it extends is true, but think about it, even if it's hot when it comes out, let it cool on the side, then measure it and put back the same amount cold
Hello Walid, I have dealt with this issue a lot in this thread. As long as you are not underfilling, you should be ok. But to be sure, you have to maintain the same temperature, and know that it was filled properly last time. What I show is what the Toyota workshop manual states...
Hello friend. Hector from Puerto Rico. Good video and job. I have a question. I have a Rav 4 2022, the transmition filter is inside and need to open de transmition to change or is like the video outside than can change easy? Thanks for the information than can give to me.🙏🙏
Hi Hector. Thank you. I have not done this on a Gen5 RAV4 yet, but from what i know it uses the same transmission. So, it should be the same. Now, part numbers may be different and you should consult your local Toyota dealer or online using your VIN# before ordering. Perhaps, someone who has can comment on it.
Somebody who understands how to incorporate music into their videos without destroying the entire video with obnoxiously loud and tasteless music. Great tutorial. Thanks!
Mercedes Benz W210 E260 is 2000, I have been using dr.starke 10W-40 oil for 11 years and I change it every 5000 km, will it be harmful if I use 0W-40? Location Azerbaijan. 310450 km.
@@masood-tv Thank you for your reply. our climate is mostly hot. in the coldest times of winter it is only -2° -3°, and in summer it is +35° +40°. If 2 months of 1 year are cold, 10 months are warm. İ am from Azerbaijan
Just swappen my CVT ATM oil, but I did not swap either of the fiilters out. 1. Does the service manual say anything about swapping the filters? Is the filter swap suggested by Honda, or this just extra maintenance that is optional? 2. Can I still go ahead and swap out the upper warmere-filter and two gaskets? Just don't want to drain out the new CVT fluid to remove the bottom ATM filter. Which filter doese most of the filtering, the one in the pan? Great video!
Hi Razz, yes, the one in the pan does most of the filtering. Wait a couple thousand miles and do both. When you just drain, not all of the fluid drains out. A second one of the pan will freshen up your fluid pretty good. The filter is not expensive. From then on, replace both filters and fluid every 30k miles for sure.
Hi its very helpful video, i want to ask something. 1. Change the expansion first or dryer first? 2. Whats the indication that we need to change expansion? Thank youu
Thank you, Albenna. Dryer always last. If the system is restricted, no longer cools as before, lines frost, warm air sometimes, or you want to overhaul the system. I think I explain these and other symptoms in those videos.
Thanks so much for this video! Lots of very helpful information for me. Wanted to mention that there is no link that works on my end for tools and the hose clamps are not called hose clamps on harbor freight. Rather they are called Fluid Line Clamps about $8 before tax. I searched clamp on their site but it did not come up so I went to google images and found it that way. Also it is worth mentioning that when you say fire extinguisher, I have learned there are many kinds of extinguishers for different fire types. I don't know the one for gasoline but I know there is an oil fire extinguisher so maybe its that one?
Hi Masood - At the end of this video, you comment that air strut replacements do "restore the car to its original factory smooth ride". Let me please ask you an old question of mine: In the case of a leakless pneumatic suspension, what would be the causes of its performance degradation? Have a nice day! Michel
Hi Michel. I think what I said was that once you have replaced the bad strut, you have restored the ride to its original factory quality...please listen again. Thanks.
My first attempt to remove the bolt has failed. I've used the CTA Mercedes lock tool, a 30 in 1/2 breaker bar with a 24 in steel tube extension and my 5' 8" x 145 lbs couldn't do it - and it would be useless to do with more leverage, because of my height. Some use impact wrenches on crankshaft bolts and CTA even offers special heavy sockets for that purpose. I've never used an impact wrench on a spinning shaft. Does one need to lock the pulley in this case? And could this damage the engine? Your opinion , thoughts and experience on this.
Hi Michel, you can absolutely use an impact gun, but you would have to remove the fan first to make room for the gun. I have a video on that also. Spray it with some penetrating fluid, leave it overnight or for a time and try again. I am not sure how your height will impede utilizing more leverage. Use as much leverage as possible. Look at my video again. I think I had over 5 feet of leverage easily...
@@masood-tv Thanks for your hints. Is a lock tool necessary with an impact wrench? Some say no, but the bolt being at the end of a spinning shaft, I can't see the difference than using a breaker bar...
Hi, Thank you. Great videos. I have the 2008 B170 (245) with an intermittent hunting problem at intersections when hot. Do you have any suggestions? Also, do you know where the fuel filter is on this vehicle?
