Thank you for uploading this I am looking for all James Boys footage for it seems there isn’t much about them though it says on IMDb they perform in different shows which are sadly hard to find, the same with Neil Reid’s performance from top of the tops hazel eyes, I asked the bbc good old days to upload the episodes with The James boys and luckily I stepped upon this just need to find the one in 1973 now big thank you for uploading this you made my day
With thee compilations can you identify the date of the show it comes from as sometimes the ends of a clip are cut off and some of us would like to locate the entire thing. This is particularly so on another of these clipfests which features dear old Billy Dainty doing the musical bottle routine which has been shortened by 5 minutes or so and Ican't find the original to see in its entirity
08071936 I ask you sincerely: Why these edits? These are lovely pieces of our shared cultural history. Why are you chopping the guts out of them. What hatred or arrogance or RU-vid copyright restriction has compelled you to this violent act of vandalism.
That's a little unkind. Expectations of entertainment were different then. Anyone who could do a "turn" was an entertainer, and some built entire careers on minor variations of a basic act. Roy's popularity relied on his personality rather than anything he could do. Kind of John Noakes with a trumpet.
you seem to be looking at all of these shows and making negative comments as I said elsewhere I'm guessing you are male frustrated and not made any real contributions in life and accomplished very little i
Silly me, these songs are the songs of Hetty King not Vesta Tilley ! and so delightful to see beautiful Sally Ann Howes who we have just lost recently.
There are a range of broadcasts of the "Good Old Days" here on RU-vid but the quality is limited to 360p. They seem to go back (in colour) to 1972 and up to 1983
Where did this media come from , it is clear it must be from the original BBC broadcast video tapes of the era. What a wonderful that should be released on DVD, the quality would not be sufficient to be released on blu-ray.
Excellent The Good Old Days I sorry to say we will not a brilliant programs like this anymore I met Bernard Cribbons at the London Film Convention In 2019 he kindly signed his autograph for me which I still have
