Hello everyone, my name is Sharon and I love being in the kitchen making delicious homemade dishes that you will enjoy. I also am a gardener. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons. I get to be outside working in the vegetable garden and flower beds. I hope that you follow me on my RU-vid channel. My video will appear every week.
@@KD400_ That’s ok! I don’t mine that people think that I up in age. I try to keep myself busy with the videos and keep my mind active. Thanks for your comments. Have a Great Night!!
That knife work is shoddy, my guy. Don't point your index finger down the spine. Pinch the knife with your thumb and index finger at the balance point, then wrap the remaining 3 fingers around the handle. After that, tuck your fingers off your off-hand in and get a claw grip on what you're cutting. That will create a flat surface perpendicular to the knife, which will act as a guide for your knife so the cut angle is the same every time. You'll get much better control and more consistent cuts that way. And that's before we even talk about using that cheap, serrated steak knife to chop onions lol. It's a perfect example of what I'm talking about, though. You've got a wide range of sizes with your chop. A better grip and hold will get more consistently sized onion bits, which leads to more consistent cooking. Keep at it, though. Skill comes with practice. You'll get it if you keep it up.
That was my 7th video that I made. I was just learning the process of making videos. You know you can speed up the video by going to settings and make adjustments to speed control. I hope that helped you. Thank you for your comment!
Hey! I just wanted to let you know, I made your cabbage soup last Sunday and my mom and sister kept going on an on about how good it was! I’m glad I found your channel. Thanks again and have a great day ✌🏼
@@sharcookery9689 I sure will. I have to run out and get the ingredients first, so I’ll probably make it this weekend but I’m excited to try it because in the past I’ve made fried rice with just soy sauce and sesame oil. Adding oyster sauce and rice wine vinegar sounds like a game changer. I’ll definitely let you know how it came out. Have a wonderful day!
If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up so I can reach a larger audience. Also can you leave a comment on the video! I need some feed back on the video.. Thank you so much!
I really appreciate you posting this video. I can’t wait to try. And to the people who have so much to say and critiquing this ladies recipe you do have freedom of speech, so keep it to yourselves. This lady showed you her version on how she likes it. You can make your version how ever the hell you want. I get so tired of people alway bad mouthing the person posting and sharing their recipes. Just like it or not …. but just keep it moving. That’s what’s wrong with world, people are too busy pointing out what they believe is wrong instead of being grateful. And giving credit when do.
Good Morning Shar! I made these cookies yesterday and they’re delicious 😋 My husband also liked them.. Great tasting cookies..Tfs your recipes 💛Blessing’s
I making a change to the recipe. Add 4 ounces of dark chocolate and 4 ounces milk chocolate. Also in the video I said 4 ounces of Malted Milk Balls (Whoppers), it's actually 5 ounces, the whole box. Sorry for the mix up!
@@sandyallday7331 Hi Sandy! Glad you are going to make the chocolate chip cookies, they are the best! I won't make them any other way! When making them add 4 ounces of each chocolate instead of 2 ounces of each chocolate. In my short video I made them that way and they were even better! You don't have to if you don't want all that chocolate. It's up to you. Also saved some chocolate pieces to stick in top of cookie. As for the Reubens make sure to have Russian dressing on the side for dipping the Reubens in. Happy Baking!👍😋
Good Morning Shar! I made these sliders for supper last night and they were delicious 😋 My husband loved them and kept saying how good were..We always use Thousand Island dressing on our Reuben sandwiches so,that is what I used instead of the Russian dressing. Tfs your recipes 💛Blessing’s
@@sandyallday7331 Good evening Sandy! I glad you liked the Reubens. The recipe did call for either Russian or Thousand Island dressing, but I only had Russian listed.Next time I make it I will use Thousand Island. Have a good night!💛
I cant believe there are so many rude people posting replies. There is an old saying that is applicable hre---If you cant find anything nicd to say then dont say anything at all". Kudos to the uploader for staying sane during the lot of negative responses.
If you want to view an Italian sandwich that has all the Italian ingredients in it and is so delicious, click the end card at the end of this video. It's called HOW TO MAKE THE BEST ITALIAN GRINDER! I promise you will like it. Let me know what you think! Thank You!
When I attack a muffin , it’s always the top first. It goes without saying that muffin tops are the muffin most (if that makes any sense). Love your recipe and I can already taste the tart sweetness of the green apples 🍏. Watching this video reminds me so much of the Amish ladies in Lancaster county baking all those wonderful Amish recipes. I’ve got to go there again soon , it’s been too long. Hint : an honest real American apple pie recipe ? Don’t forget the Split pea with ham hocks. Definitely will be on my “muffin tops’ recipe. P.S., Loved the music in the background as well.
I won't forget about making the split pea soup. Right now I have other videos that I will be posting first. It will be in a couple weeks. Thank you for your comments! Do you like Shoofly Pie? That's on my list
As the crow flies ….. directly to shoo fly pie 🥧 . Hahah 😂. Had homemade shoofly in Lancaster county Amish country . Loved that traditional Pennsylvania Dutch pie , especially with a dollop of fresh homemade whipped cream. Did you know the Pennsylvania Dutch are not Dutch at all , but German. The word is actually Deutsch and over time it just became easier to say Dutch. I’ve seen recipes where they use eggs and certain spices like cloves. It was yummy yum 😋.
@@Nel33147 I enjoy Shoofly and Apea or Ape cake, there is several ways of spelling it but they go good with coffee in morning. I made Apea cake in one of my videos. It was really good.😋
Hi Sandy! The muffins are that good! They are so tasty and moist. I know a lot of people don't like using that word but I don't care. I'm using it because they are MOIST!!😋👍
@@joeylummox7330 Sorry, but it really doesn’t matter if I get good or bad comments to my videos. I enjoy reading both. So I’m keeping as it is. Thank you for the comment!👍
@@denisbeaudoin4618 If you didn’t like this video watch my video called HOW TO MAKE THE BEST ITALIAN GRINDER! SO DELICIOUS! I’m pretty sure you will agree that it is Italian. Let me know what you think about that video. Feedback is very important to me! Enjoy the rest of the day👍
I'm shuddering with the thought of how much salt is in this! 🥴 I what world is this considered cooking? This is courtesy of the neighborhood deli, not moms kitchen! 😑
This is basically a sandwich. I make something similar. However, I use prosciutto, cappicolla, provolone, Genoa salami, seasoned Roma , and sliced Mozzarella. My family loves it.
@@MaryCoffey-pn9zv Mary, my more recent video called How To Make The Best Italian Grinder is something you might want to watch! It similar to your sandwich. Check it out and let me know what you think 🤔
@sharcookery9689 I will give it a look. My grandparents came here shortly after the start of WW2. They were very poor, and my mom grew up never wasting anything. She had a veggie sandwich/lasagna version that was also amazing.
@sharcookery9689 It's basically something I make when I need to use up the leftover odds and ends or if I have veggies that are running out of time.I seem to always have cheese so it works out.
Looks delicious! So many amateurs out here acting like food critics in the comments. Make it however you like it. Theres nothing wrong with substituting ingredients for others you prefer more. If you ask for cheddar instead of mozzarella on a pizza, its still a pizza.
@@Only2genders43 Thank you. I appreciate your comment. It makes me feel better about the video. I know the title doesn’t scream Italian but that was what they called it Baked Italian! If you really want an Italian sandwich check out my new video called Stuffed Italian Style Deli Grinder. That sandwich is really good!👍
@@sharcookery9689 your video was great! Looks absolutely delicious! I also prefer Swiss to Provo. This would be an easy dish to play with as well. You could add anything to it. I would love this with a layer of small pieces of broccoli.
This looks delicious. So much so that I think I'll try it soon for Sunday dinner for the whole family. I am curious, however, regarding why it's called Italian when it contains no mozzerella or parmesan, no basil or oregano, and no tomatoes or tomato sauce. I'm assuming its the meat combination. But I'm inspired to make it MORE Italian. I'll use the same meats and crescent dough. But in addition to Swiss cheese, which I love, I will add provolone or pepper jack. And I will sprinkle dried basil and oregano plus salt, pepper and garlic powder over each layer of cheese. Also, in addition to fire roasted red bell pepper, I will also add sliced, browned onion and maybe fresh spinach leaves. Thanks for the great video and for sharing your recipes.
@@tlb2732 I used that title because that’s what the recipe called it. If you go to my RU-vid channel I just posted a new video called The Best Italian Grinder that is totally Italian. I’m pretty sure you will like it! I hope you give it a try, it’s really good!😋👍
