This might be a dumb question but why did you choose to frame the casing rather than just nail the pieces into the studs as they were? Was it to avoid the wood flexing over time and pulling apart?
Hi from Canada. Hey don’t be so hard on yourself. You did great and the video had some great angle shots. So when you were marking where to cut for the T track positioning what did you align your back side of the line to? The back of the miter saw correct ? Ty and keep up the videos
I’m doing this but only noticed some bubbling after priming. The bubbling is not at the seams but in the middle of one of the sheets. Do you have any advice on how to fix that? Bc it isn’t at the seam, I’m not sure adding the wall compound would fix it.
OK. thanks for showing what happens when we get lazy. I winced seeing you drill over saw table too. I wanna reprimand you on holding little pieces with hands but I have done the same thing.
Thank you. It's such a pleasure to view your work, and your explanations are so clear. I'm shocked that more people haven't discovered your channel. Your videos are great.
It maybe a stupid question but why don't you first glue the panel and then drill hole at the right place ? I'm considering make floating shelves and was gonna do it this way and your video make me doubt about that ;-)
Thanks for sharing your design with the world. I finished making my own for my toddler today. He absolutely loves it. It’s perfect for our family because it’s strong and easy to move. Our son’s room becomes the guest room when we have company and we move him to our master bedroom. This is so easy to move and looks amazing.
good video, thanks for sharing! looks like this would be the easiest way to get rid of textured walls. how rough was the wall prior to installing the wall liner? and how smooth after install?
The walls were overly textured and it came out relatively smooth. If you have texture over a couple millimeters thick then this method probably wouldn’t work very well
