I've had one for a few years now and also keep mine in my truck from September - December. Great tool that's very versatile. I did take off my rope and slid a small piece of radiator hose over the rope and then re-secured it. It is a little nicer when dragging. Another trick I seen done was a guy carried two 2x4's in the back of his pickup that fit in flat. When he goes to load the deer/bear in the truck he just sets them down from tailgate to ground and then just pulls it up. Works pretty slick if your alone.
WoW. Excellent!! Was trying to get a cleat up to mount a minn kota trolling motor. Gonna try that today. Lyk how it goes. I also have a Hydrasport. Great boat. Sad they stopped making them.

I keep my Jet sled in the canoe and when I get my moose I transport the quarters back to the canoe in the Jetsled XL fits perfect in my 19’ Grumman in Alaska.
Port and starboard nav lights are supposed to be visible from the front and side of the boat by other boaters. Do these lights do that? Seems like only visible from the side.
Yes they are. The lights meet right at the front as they are supposed to. Look at the 40 min mark of the video you can see both lights as I cross the very front of the boat. The kit comes with a diagram showing the correct angle to mount.
Thank you guys! I used a kids snow sled last year and it definitely is MUCH better at dragging "dead weight" out of the thick stuff. I'm going to upgrade to this product (mainly because I lost that sled in the overgrowth😆). Thanks again gentlemen on a superb review👍
Only thing on that buck 140 is inches lol. I’m assuming you didn’t see the part of the video with a 300 pound bear that was drug well over a mile with just two people. The sleds are great tools in a lot of different situations but certainly not perfect in all. The sled would be great for a 233 pound deer.

Just wondering if styrofoam would be better than plain foam because it won’t absorb and hold any moisture. In regards to long term effects on the electronics of the camera not getting airflow around it. Still, I love it
I would think you would just leave the rub rail as is and drill the 5/8 hole through it all. Reason being is that cover plate is recessed on the back with a tee slot to capture the led fixture. By removing a section of the rub rail wouldn't you be allowing the led to sit too deep in the rail and and not engage the cover plate correctly?
Good idea. My only concern is if yoy already have weak wifi signal I wonder if the metal box will make it worse? Also if you have to pay $15/ box and it take well over a hour it seems it would be more cost efficient to just pay the $30 for the tactacam box
