We have both, the double rollers on the S1 Pro do a much better job cleaning walls and algae with catching it in the filter, especially if you have white plaster like we do.
How much are you packing that you keep me ruining the bevels? 50 lbs max in these airlines before they charge you big $$$$$. The bevels keep me from overpacking.

I ordered the Beatbot Aquasense about six weeks ago and really had high hopes as it really had great reviews. I was sadly disappointed with it and returned it after a couple of weeks and received a full refund. Here are the Pros & Cons from my experience with it. (My pool is in-ground mosaic tiled 29ft by 13ft) PROS: Beautifully designed and premium build quality. Charging dock is a bonus. Great customer service with prompt communication. CONS: It's supposed to have AI pool mapping, but mine just ran around randomly, and just kept 'cleaning' the same places over and over leaving out large areas of the pool. The battery never lasted as long as advertised and often ran out of juice before finishing a programme. Fine sand is not collected and is pumped out of the back vent at high pressure making my pool murky. The filter basket is hopeless at collecting anything but leaves and larger debris, anything else just goes right through the filter. The app is very basic and I agree with you that it could be improved. I previously owned a Hayward cordless robot which cost a fraction of the price. It didn't have AI mapping but it collected even the finest debris and cleaned every inch of the pool flawlessly. On a plus point, the Beatbot customer service is excellent and they apologized and gave me a full refund when I returned it. I think the Beatbot has potential but they really need to improve the AI software and use better filters similar to the Hayward robots.

How well does it clean the surface? I live in Florida and there are tons of tiny bugs on the surface of my pool. They are like tiny gnats. They get through the lanai I guess. Do you think it could get tiny surface bugs?
Maybe you've never cleaned anything in your life. Consider this for a minute: with almost every mopping system in the world, as soon as the mop touches the floor, it gets dirty. The only way to fully clean it with fresh water is to dump out all the water in the bucket and refill it with clean water, or to rinse the mop under the faucet. You'll spend all day filling and emptying the bucket, wasting a ton of water.
Excellent review m8 and thanks for your efforts. I've owned a Seagull pro lite ($899 aud) for about 6 months now and love it. However, it would be nice if it climbed the steps like the Scuba pro. Also that ultra fine filter would be excellent for my area for the dust etc. Thanks again. Mick from Australia 👍
Did you find the hinged lid on the filter basket on the Scuba more awkward to clean than the Seagull? Also, doesn't the Scuba have a second filter? Wouldn't that be more efficient in dusty areas?
A video on the gate sensor would be awesome. I’ve tried to use door / window ones and it just doesn’t work well. Curious if yours would get around the problems we’ve had.
You're very welcome. I hope you used my link. What code did you use to get down to $460? The one I found only takes off 15%. I would love to let other people know so they can save too.
We keep having trouble of it parking and dying at the bottom of the deep end somewhere. My husband had to scuba in to search for it twice now. Our water was slightly cloudy so we weren’t able to just fish it out as shown. I thought it would park itself against the top of the wall/waterline or where you dropped it in.
Aiper is world's top least reliable pool robot. I bought 3kinds($850, $380, $350), but they are no working after one year. Aiper robot life is one year. I want we would jointly sue this company for deceiving consumers.
Hello. thanks for the video. I bought the Scuba S1 and I can say that it works great. I would like to ask you what is the difference in height from the floor of the Seagull Pro compared to the Scuba S1. Unfortunately my Scuba S1 can't walk, like the tracks are slipping, but it's not the robot's fault but the bottom of my pool. Thank you
@@ModernDayReviews When I opened the software, it didn't afford options to select a WiFi router. While I read the instructions and watched several vids on it, it did not make that option available in my version. I was hoping you could point out the steps to do that, as I can always repurchase.
@@ModernDayReviews Thank you. So you have to do that while it's still wire connected to the router? I'm assuming the option shows on your software on the phone?
How is lifting them off that wack a$$ stand easier than the floor? Also adjustable dumbbells in that form low key suck. Also also how is this guy talking shit but wearing lifting gloves. ALSO also also lame voice.
Love mine for all the reasons you mentioned and more. I originally got it because it was the only toaster oven I could find with an interior light! I have the air fryer model and I use it way more than I thought I would.
These are great for a very small number of people. For a lot of people, they're not going to be useful at all. I love mine, but keep this in mind: • If you have small panes of glass, it's terrible because it can't jump from pane to pane. so it just wiggles around in a little square. 1000% easier to just clean it yourself. • If you have a 1-story house, just clean them by hand. This thing isn't going to make your life any easier. • They require a LOT of babysitting!! Cleaning a window only takes a few minutes, and it's not like a robotic you can just set off when you leave the house and come back any time. When it finishes, it still sucking itself to the window and needs to be taken down. So you set it up, wait 5 minutes, then have to take it down and reposition it on the next window. It's a lot of work. On the other hand, it's GREAT is you have large windows on a 2- or 3-story house that you can access from indoors! We have sliding windows with screens. I slide it open, pop off the screen, and send it to town. That's about the only use case where this is a great product. If you use it to clean 2nd story windows but need to access them from outside on a ladder, DON'T. Super dangerous to lug this thing and it's power cord up there, and you should still tie it off somewhere above where it's cleaning. Total pain and dangerous.
Nice review but I find this to be on the bulky side. Plus there would only be one attachment I see myself using. I currently have the Dental Spa shower flosser. Just simple but does the trick.
Bluetooth trackers are not designed for pets. They rely on other people's phones to be within Bluetooth range, which in the real world is about 30 feet or less. Additionally, they don't update fast enough. Pet GPS trackers with cellular communication work faster and better, which is what I recommend. The first line of defense is being a responsible pet owner. The second is a pet tag with a phone number. The third is a Pet GPS tracker, and the fourth would be a Bluetooth tracker. Obviously, people are going to do what they want to do and what they believe, but as someone who loves pets, I could not honestly and conscientiously recommend Bluetooth trackers unless it is in addition to a GPS tracker. If you love your pet, spend the money, time, and energy on devices that actually work. Plus, have you ever seen "Samsung" advertise them for pets?
The fine filter baskets on S1 and the Seagul Pro are 180μm. If you want an ultra fine filter of 3μm, consider the Aiper S1 Pro - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lXPFI7ovNMk.htmlsi=y1ZY2MZKq7coAUJW
