Today we're looking at the Honeywell Duval Damp Rated Ceiling Fan. geni.us/Honeywell-Fan (Amazon Affiliate link) I'm installing this on my screened porch, making it a perfect fit since it's covered. This fan is designed for damp areas but not for direct exposure to rain. What I love most about this fan is its affordability. While it's not high-end, it offers decent quality for its price. The fan blades are made of hard plastic, and while the fan blade mounts are metal, the overall construction is straightforward and easy to assemble. The fan blade mounts are easy to attach; you just screw them into the motor, place the blades on top, and turn the dials to secure them in place. The motor is standard, with a metal housing that is damp-resistant, perfect for covered porches. You can also add a light kit if you prefer, but I'll be sticking with the pull chain controls as I'll be using a smart switch for control.
