Flip the oil bottle over when you pour and that will stop the "glug glug glug" and also let you tip the bottle at a greater angle, getting the bottle closer to the oil fill opening, before the oil comes out.
I am wondering if the generator is physically attached to the wood platform in some manner, or just sitting on it. I saw an unboxing of a similar Predator generator and he laid in on its side, opened the bottom flaps and removed the shipping platform and then tipped it back up and lifted off the box. Is that possible?

Hello, Reading the website specs said Peak Amps @ 120V 75.00, Running Amps @120V 63.33. I think that 120/240V 30A Twist Lock is 120v each leg when is set to 120v providing 240v 63.3 amps in total. You should test that outlet with a voltmeter.

i just got one. ive seen too many videos on this about running rich plug & exhaust fouling out put in an ngk plug drill holes in filter door run tank vent out bottom put bigger wheels on it reverse 30 amp plug 180% oil break in change oil lots at first.. seems like lots to do? each person had different advise.. confusing 😳 im going with what i see makes sense. im not leaving off the oil door cause air intake in front cools the inverter elrctronics. i am getting a better ngk plug. i am going to change the oil often as i always do. may vent the gas tank tubing out the bottom?
Advice: if you want it to last, as soon as break in is done, switch to a good synthetic oil and for plug, get an iridium plug. I had a generator that ran on synthetic from 1999 to 2021. The engine still fine but the generator died.
@@rockystelone21 I got tired of waiting and ordered the Champion 8750 watt open frame inverter. It is ready for me to pick it up. I also ordered a Champion 4250 watt dual fuel open frame inverter for when gas is not available. Both together are around $1900.00 including tax. (Disappointingly, I called Champion about a technical question and was told there was a 3 hour wait time. I called back later several days ago and was given the option of a call back that has never happened.) My old Black Max generator and A-Ipower inverter have never failed me. Hopefully Champion does not let me down.

Just unboxed my 56720 Predator 3500. Just need to buy gas with stablizer tomorrow. Looking forward to first startup. I plan to use as home standby unit and hookup to my VW Rialta since my builtin Generac has failed again.
