Why do people always grab the reins?!? Common sense states if you can't touch a guard, what makes you think you can touch his horse?!? I don't understand. Signage says that horse bites and Do Not Touch the Reins!!! So sad.🥺😔
This horse or any horse for that matter that bites. Really should be looked into. There are many reasons they do. It can actually get dangerous for the horses and yes those mounted on them. There's some reasons I'll explain here that doesn't relate . And later that could be some that do. His mare or foal isn't around. Which the may bite to protect them. The other horses aren't around. Not the situation here. Nor is there any food around , another reason. It could be the grit itself , being to tight, and if so that could be a sign of a health situation. But biting is serious and never should be ever over looked. It could mean the horse needs more pasture time even. From being in the stall to long . Just given you a few ideas of some of the reasons they do bite. So yes it's not something that really should just be let go and ignored. It could yes , also mean the horse is in pain and uncomfortable. Their Vet should be called in to check him out . If passed a health check afterwards . Than it needs to be looked into other possible reasons. But never let it go or ignored until the answer is found. It's for the benefit and health of the horse as well as the handler . And if its just because the horse wants to bite , it can be taught this behavior is unacceptable. This is very important knowledge about horses that's very important.to know. It's not a funny situation as people think. For the safety of both horse and rider. Must respect here to the channel .
