There is a very big sign where it says dont touch reins, yet there is always somebody who takes the reins.

The first time the horse pushes or nips, step away. Don’t move closer two or three or four more times.

I’m beginning to think that visitors get a kick or perhaps find it an honour to be shouted at by the King’s Guards. 💂‍♀️ 💂‍♂️ 😅😅

The difference between how the horse reacts to the different people is great. Those that approach like it's their right against those that are careful, respectful and ask nicely. Also how the horses react to the disabled is so great to see.

The military shouldn't let people through and the signs should say do not touch the horses - it would remove a lot of the unnecessary confrontations.

The trooper in cammo raising his fist to the horse concerns me more than the drunk, slurring ugly words. I was disappointed that the mounted guard didn't say something to him. I watch lots of these types of video and I've never see a trooper threaten a horse. Just bad form all around.

I don’t understand why people want a photo with themselves and the horse. Or even just putting your hand out to show that you can touch the horse. All I would do is take a photo of the trooper. That would be enough for me.

I worked on a dude ranch one summer when I was much younger and we never had crap like those poor guardsmen and their horses have to put up with. They need to put a line where visitors are not suppose to cross. Having annoying horses is not a good sign for the Royal Guard.

This lack of respect was a rarity a couple of decades ago, now it seems to be a regular thing. I can see a day when either the public are excluded from these wonderful traditional displays, or they are simply discontinued, removing a key tourist attraction and a lot of colour and tradition from London and other royal residences. It is almost getting to the stage where a police officer needs to permanently guard the guards, which is ridiculous!
