I am interested in these sticks but have a question for you. I know you also have the XOP Retrograde stand. Can these sticks rest on the seat and stack vertical against the seat post when transporting? I don’t want to carry them horizontal. Thanks!
I see this as such a good idea especially for those who have trouble or even a disability that prevents them from holding a bow too long for the right shot. Great invention
@@HeartlandMakesAndOutdoors thanks for the comment Dale! It’s wild how aggressive they get. A month before they are licking bugs off one another and the next they are trying to take one another out.
@@reviveoutdoors4him Agreed, these two were after blood for sure, watched a pretty lengthy fight, then the winner chased the looser off, never did get either one with in bow range, tried, but didnt happen. I will be going back after one of them soon. :)
@@reviveoutdoors4him I went ahead and ordered that kit you was using this morning, I have used the bags in the past and always looked for a tree limb to tie off on for the ground sounds, I like using it like a yoyo like you showed, I will share that later on this fall as well, so thank you so much for sharing this with us all.
I bought a competitors model around 6 years ago. Big, bulky, and weighed a ton. Took 6 through bolts and a sandwich style plate to mount it to my hang on. Wish I would have saved my money for this...
Just ordered mine and cant wait. Exactly what I was looking for, fairly compact and solid. Thanks for the video, discount code, and what you do for conversation and helping others.
Hi, I live in a condo with underground parking of max height of 6 ‘ 11 “. Could you tell me what is the overall height of your truck and camping cap setup?
Very helpful, but you also need to explain how the wind really works. The wind works like ocean currents when the wind blows, then it gets sucked back out the opposite way pull in your sent towards critters that you don’t want catching your wind.
@@Alan-uw6ik I do. I will be covering that in my scent control episode. Ozone machines have been used to remove smells (cigarette smoke or other odors) from homes and buildings for years. It’s scientifically proven for sure, but how it impacts us in the outdoors I will dissect in that episode. I am working diligent at it, but it’s taking some time because I want to make sure I get it right and don’t upset the $1B+ scent control industry too bad. I don’t want them to make me disappear 🤣
Does reveal automatically update the firmware and you have to do nothing or you still have to update firmware on the app by clicking something on your phone.
@@craigwagner327 within the app on your phone it has notified me and I have to click I am good with it updating. I am not sure if you can set them to auto or not.
@@reviveoutdoors4him will the battery status bar tell you what percentage your battery is cause I was told lithium batteries will either be at 100 percent or not working at all. There is no in between
@@craigwagner327 I have not experienced that personally. I have always seen a battery percentage using alkaline AA’s, lithium AA’s or the lithium cartridges.
In your opinion, do you think the tactacam reveal 3.0 x low glow light would be an issue with spooking deer vs the reveal 3.0 pro that has no glow light? If not, I will but the 3.0 reveal x cause it's cheaper
@@craigwagner327 we’ve ran glow cameras for 10+ years with no issues. Not saying it cannot have an impact, but we have still had success on dear of all ages
@@craigwagner327 we’ve had 20 Reveal X’s in the woods for 4 years straight with no issues. A guy in Georgia posted on Facebook today a time lapse of pictures from his camera where the water was rising, then the camera was submerged, then pics of hogs coming through after the water receded. Pretty neat he was sent all the photos (even the ones underwater) to his phone!

I have diabetes and that causes me to have poor circulation in my feet. Cold feet is an issue for sure with me. I wear Mt Hunter boots made by Hoffman boots as my ankles got wrecked playing high level soccer until I was 24yrs old. Luv that style of boot but they are made to fit super snug to provide crazy support but that cuts circulation not helping with warmth. Now poor circulation I have but my feet still sweat like crazy!!! Not good combo. I’ve found a boot with 200-400grams of thinsulate are best with a sock combo of poly moisture wicking sock liner and a light weight minus 33 Merino wool sock. Gonna buy some boot covers of some kind for long sits this yr. Thx for review!!
@@masonoertli4099 my main complaint was how difficult it was to get over your boots, how bulky they were and how noisy they were. My feet did get cold in them as well, but that was before I dialed in this process.
I have used sawyer for years never had issue with it never got tick on me .what i do is i wash my hunting gear frist then after they air dry i would spry them down pants jacket even hats if it cold outside even gloves .then after it dry i put it in bag let it sit overnight when i get up i put my gear on .i seen hunter put sawyer in woods spray area were they hunting kill ticks that maybe around swap area or use cotton balls stick broken branch into cotton balls put them in circle area were they sit prevent ticks that crawling on ground will not go near were they sit from from side or back .i don't know if it worked maybe they did.old farmer deer hunter told me sawyer works but if u hunting near thick area in woods hang patch on tree or spray bottom tree were u like sit keep them away.if u use ground blind or tree stand want spray them to but not over do it .if u got like pail bucket with seat on it or some hunting folding chair spray them to .i don't think sawyervmake body wash tick protection use wash body with i have look that up
Where are you located? I would like to visit the store/factory. I'm in N.W. Ohio, near Lima. The 260 area code is Ft. Wayne, so I'm guessing that you're close. 👍 I've been climbing with my Summit Viper platform, like your Panther Platform. The Panther is better being able to strap it to the tree like my Trophyline Mission platform.
@@ronaldols8975 they get toasty for sure, but for me would make my feet sweat and get uncomfortable and cold, plus it was one more thing for me to charge. 😂

Being military with a friend who recently died by suicide, I truly appreciate your push for mental health. Would love you buy you a coffee or beer sometime - Joey in deatsville AL
Legalize climbing spurs on dead trees. Ill stick to climber stand for now, or stay on the ground. Thanks for sharing, im always on the lookout for a better way to get into trees
