Hi Cindy, my name is Dawn and I was talking to your husband today at work and he told me you have a RU-vid channel. I am watching your content. You are a natural! I too am on RU-vid if you want to take a gander. 🙂 You do beautiful work!

This is the best method. A friend showed me this basting method recently and it works well for me. Had not seen it on RU-vid before this one. Glad you did this video. I received a couple more good tips here. Thank you. Another method for removing the freezer paper is to stop several stitches before done stitching applique to fabric, lightly run a tool of some sort between fabric and freezer paper, and then gently grab edge of freezer paper ( tweezers work well) and gently pull it out, and then complete stitching.

Hello, I am currently conducting some research around how-to videos on RU-vid in terms of marketing communications. The research is part of a PhD thesis. I was wondering if you would consider taking part. Taking part would include an email interview. I would normally contact via email but your channel does not appear to have one. Would this be something you would consider? Thank you - Kellyann :)

I started this channel to help students taking a quilting class from me. I am not interested in doing an interview or changing anything I am currently doing. I wish you luck.

great job!!!!! Is there a reason that you do not butt the tops of the strips together?

I leave room for trimming in case it is not straight. Seems to happen when working with strips more than individual logs.
