This is the best method. A friend showed me this basting method recently and it works well for me. Had not seen it on RU-vid before this one. Glad you did this video. Another method for removing the freezer paper is to stop several stitches before done stitching applique to fabric, lightly run a tool of some sort between fabric and freezer paper, and then gently grab edge of freezer paper ( tweezers work well) and gently pull it out, and then complete stitching.
