Thanks buddy! Hope you enjoy your RC10T as much as I do! I still have yet to come around to build it! Maybe in another week or so! Gonna check out your unboxing video too!
Did you get the RC10ST (Sport Truck) that came with these gold shocks and bushings? Or did you get the RC10T (Team) will full bearings, etc? Ever wanted the LXT?
I got mine a few days ago. I did not open it yet. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet. I do think that it is disappointing that it does not include bearings. I wish it was made in the USA but it is not. Thoughts?
Glad you got one! I think it's a great kit. Bearings would be nice. It is made in Taiwan which is much more preferred than in China. Thunder Tiger products have been good to me all these years. I wonder how much would it really cost if AE made it here? $500+?
@@My2JZandMe It might cost more of it was made here. I think Team Associated should just moved out of California and just went to another state. That would save a whole bunch of money. As you said they are owned by Thunder Tiger and are now located in Taiwan. Thoughts?
YES! I was extremely happy that I have a real manual! They really messed up that "Limited Edition" 40th kit that did not come with it. Happy building your 10T!
I'm concerned about the blue lights. It's against the law in a lot of states for non law enforcement vehicles to have blue lights. It usually includes bikes and scooters.
It's not as blue as it looks. Just very cool white. Worst case scenario is that you can tape some yellowish tint over it to get it a bit more on the warmer color spektrum.
@@My2JZandMe Upon closer look, I think Wisconsin uses words like _"Police lights"_ on a vehicle. It looks like the lights on a scooter are ok. I ordered a Wolf King GT pro on Tuesday and it's scheduled to arrive next Tuesday or Wednesday. Thanks for posting.
Congratulations for the video. A kind question: In your opinion, are the handlebars too high for a 1.70 m person? I would like to know the height from the footboard to the steering knob.
I'm not quite sure how tall is 1.7m but I'm 5'10 and it is not too high at all. You can adjust the swing of the handlebar and it should be done to your personal preference. Good luck!
I used to dye all of the white plastic parts blue or green.. then buff off all of the gold to a chrome looking shine. I always had the best looking rc10.
Hey i'm not sure if you meant plastic logo name sheet witht he LEDs shining through or the frame itself which is aluminum or steel (black). Nothing has been replaced on this scooter. Completely factory stock!
just carefully adjust the caliper. Make sure there's 2 even spaces between the pads and disc itself. Use a flash light so you can see if it's even or not. You can also order a cheap tool but I did not have one at the time. Just takes some time (probably 15 mins for me). Good luck!
I'm one of the original Tesla investors from opening day but Tesla might want to look at the red crystal sol red paint from Mazda.Tharts what a premium red paint needs to look like. And if you look close at any Tesla you can see some dust in the paint from when it was painted
That Mazda Soul Red Crystal color is indeed a very pretty color. It's a bit more shady and metallic compared to the Tesla multi-coat red. Haven't seen the Mazda vs Tesla's new Ultra Red though. However, they do look more of a burgundy when the sun isn't out.
@@My2JZandMe Great deals on Tesla's right now and I can get an extra 5 k off but I he have a 5 year old child and need more room so I will order a Rav 4 hybrid .
Does anyone know why scooter manufacturers don't move along to substantially larger, thicker wheels and tires on their machines. I like what Dualtron did with the City model, but even there, the wheels are skinny. I would think the larger wheel/tire combo would give much more stability from centrifugal force. It would be greatly increased over the small wheels found on most scooters. The entire scooter would have to be built to accommodate the new running gear, but what a ride! Just for the record, I've only ridden one of these once, years ago, but I'm interested in how far they've come and am looking at them as a possible good time just bombing around the neighborhood. I am on the older side though, and a spill off one of these could be real trouble. Maybe I should just stick to the tricycle. Thanks for the video.
I bought with them directly as I know they are going to be the newest batch from the factory. I've bought my first Mantis Pro from them before so I have a good amount of confidence with them. They do have a 1 year warranty. Also I save some tax buying from them vs my local shop. Hope that helps!
I didn't think I would stay and watch the whole thing but I did and I gotta let you know you really got me interested in That's scooter i'm also looking at dualtron x limited and weped but I'm also looking foe something small to go on the bus but with speed and distance
Thanks for the comment and watching through the video! The Dualtron X and Wepeds are huge, even compared to my Wolf King GT. If you're lugging it onto the bike rack of the bus, then these 65-75lb scooters are perfect. Good luck and ride safe!
Yup yup! Always knowing there's tremendous reserved power with a push of a button! I know my own limits and level 2 is perfect for all around city riding! Be safe my friend!
I use mode 2 dual mode also. I went into advanced settings and set the speed % a little higher so I can go 30. The torque in that mode is perfect for me
Great choice dude! Yeah the Cruiser is an insane long range cruiser. I think it would bog down a lot if there are some hills though! Have fun and thanks for commenting!
Amazon driver here! Can confirm these likely won’t be wrapped! All of the yellow safety pieces you showed are blue on the prime vans. The rear door is blue plastic too, and the Rivian logo on the grill says “Amazon” on the prime vans. And the biggest hint like you mentioned in the description is that these are 500s! Some of the first I’ve seen in the wild! You can tell because the 700’s we use for delivery have 4 side panels instead of 3! Cool to see these up close, have a good one!
Thank you for the additional info! Greatly appreciate it! I believe that the smaller/smallest ones are for the more dense urban areas. Thank you for delivering our products safely! Please be safe out there!
Those are rivian owned fleet vans. The Amazon trucks roll off the line already blue. They did a bunch of the white ones here recently. They are for their use only they cannot sell to any other company. Right now anyway. I would love to own one of these mysel. I would love to turn it into a camper Van.
Once you begin to tap into the full power of this beast, trust me it will change you. Also if you don't need to fold this for any reason, you can buy an M8 bolt and wing nut to keep from losing the locking pin that it comes with
Yes it is! I am not crazy about the EC2 as they look funky! Definitely not period correct! I would prefer using those miniature Tamiya looking standard plugs. Thanks for the kind words!
Mine was delivered a few days ago, going to unbox tonight. Bought the JRXT KIT in 1990. 30th birthday present for my self 😁. Wish I still had it. ✌🏻. Have Fun with it! Life is short my friend 😊
@@My2JZandMe oh I knew that was coming. People scoop 3-4 and then double the price. The same as the losi mini t 40th anniversary. Take a look how much those are going for.
@Golden Manuever yikes i never really looked into that! Anyhow, i think Losi will eventually make the 1/10 due to "popular demand". If not the kit, parts will be made at the very least! Have fun with your Mini JRxT! I'm still going over some small details on mine!
@@My2JZandMe Thanks dude I appreciate it. I am not one of the bashers guys...i can't see how some spend $700 and then drive it into a wall at 60mph for views :). I tried it on carpet and placed it in a glass case. I do a lot of r/c but just light, smooth running. none of that other jazz lol
@@goldenmanuever1176 Yup I know EXACTLY what you mean! They simply do it for views and free stuff given to them for a BS review. I have always bought all my toys myself and don't rely on others! Treat them all like your babies and not like trash!
I was going to wait for the weather to warm up a little more, but I'm ready to order one myself, I might do that tomorrow. I'd really prefer this exact spec as well, but it looks like Voro charges more for the black. Maybe I'll see if they will match the $3200 price they show for the gold... if so, I'm in.
Yeah I noticed that the BLACK one is more expensive too! I think they just got a bunch of gold ones in and that's why they have a lower price. You can't go wrong with the black one that's for sure. Good luck and ride safe!
@@vinceruland9236 I am only 10-15 minutes from Downtown LA so I'm in the middle of many local hobby stores such as PC Hobbies, Pegasus, Ultimate, Revelation Raceway, etc! I still miss the memories of going to our local mall to look at those brand new kits that I can only dream of!
@@vinceruland9236 sweet! Any plans on what to do with your Mini JrXT? There is A LOT of slop, mis aligned decals, overly tightened wheels/rubs onto the spindle...definitely needs some work! I never went down to SD for RC tracks. Not even my local ones when I was in high school. Poor kid indeed!
I'm thinking about getting the Mantis 8 because it's cheaper. They both hold the same max weight 265. Have you ever thought about getting the Mantis 8? If so, why did you choose the Mantis GT over the 8?
I thought about the 8 but i had a 36V scooter before i got the Mantis 10 Pro. While it's a few hundred bucks more, i think it's well worth it. Bigger battery means more power and range with a 60V system. It's only 10 pounds or so more. Unless it's your first scooter, i think you'll want more eventually. If budget is your priority, i think the 8 or 8 Pro would be a 👍 scooter indeed!
@@My2JZandMe Thanks for the feedback. My friend told me that the Mantis King GT would be a better option. Yes, it would be my first scooter, and the Mantis King GT is a scooter that I can be happier with long term, because it will allow for me to grow into it as I become a more comfortable rider.
@@Kush333 The Mantis King GT is the top of the line Mantis. The ones prior is the Mantis 10 Pro (with small updates v1-v2-v3?), that is a few hundred bucks cheaper than the KING GT. Yeah you pay for the good stuff but for sure it will last you YEARS! I'm sure you will enjoy your first scooter! Good luck and have fun my friend!
Thanks for sharing this. It looks like there might be hope for fitting one in the back of my Audi A3 if the front goes in last. I own a truck, but I'd like to take it on trips with me and the TDI in my Audi is far cheaper to operate!
Yeah if you have good roof head clearance, it is best to shove the highest point in first which is much safer for the LCD/brake lever areas. You don't want that hitting the tight or low spots of your hatch area if you hit a bump or something. You should be fine but make sure you got enough length too as I don't know the Audi A3's interior dimensions. This scooter is LONGER when folded than unfolded. Stay safe out there!
This is beautiful you got all three of them I have the Mantis V2 2022 it rips acceleration torque brakes you will keep up with a car right away Kaboo Mantis is the best scooter in the world 🥇🥇🥇🥊
I prefer the bigger Wolf King GT. Better overall performance and comfort if you can justify spending the extra money that is. Good luck and always ride safe!
When it first came out, I was well into the Gold Wolf King GT... But after a couple of months, I much preferred the more Stealthy black, (And it's the same with the Mantis GT)
Yes, i had ordered the gold one originally, and then I got sick of it and changed my order. My 2 year old all black Mantis Pro still looks like a new scooter and does not look dated cos it's just a stealthy all black scooter. Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts and ride safe! 😊
