Cool Ride, I just wish that the rapids were much rougher and that you could visually see peeps getting wet or maybe even visually see obvious rapids areas. As someone who's actually gone whitewater rafting these Sims often fall short in that category when it comes to rapids rides.
Thanks for watching. I absolutely agree, the peeps don't have much reaction to the water rides. In terms of the ride itself, I think if I did it again there would be more effects that I would add to create more of the illusion of rough rapids.
Thank you! The Area Lights you see aren't actually functional because they radiate too much light (but they are used as scenery as they look like traffic lights). The cars activate Boxlights on timed triggers which are above those Area Lights!
@@BeckyGamingGirl my apologies I have corrected my original response as it was slightly inaccurate! I remember now I had to actually switch off the Area Lights because they radiated TOO much light! The lights themselves are Boxlights shined from above. Hope this helps.
This coaster is simply amazing. The attention to detail is immense. Even the subtle flickering of the lights with bubbles are present on the sign when the bathysphere is first entering Rapture for the first time. Amazing experience and great encapsulation in only 10 minutes of one of the greatest stories ever told. You have made the roller coaster an artistic medium by which the chaos, intrigue, and turbulence of a situation is depicted through the twists and turns or smoothness of the ride of the coaster. This is an amazing masterpiece and as a lifelong bioshock fan, I cannot even begin to express my profound respect for you and your work.
This is genuinely impressive. Condensing BioShock down to just a few standout moments while still feeling like you hit all the different geographic locations in the city of Rapture is no easy feat. And all the while you really made it feel like a roller coaster with the thrills and pacing and unique aspects. I'm in awe.
Thanks for watching! For a game like Bioshock that takes nearly 24 hours to fully complete, sometimes it can be a challenge condensing it into 10 minutes 😅
Andrew Ryan himself would probably recruit you for Rapture for creating this. This is amazing stuff! Thanks for giving Bioshock lovers a nostalgia trip.
