It's hard to imagine how much work went into this. What you've created here is a great work of art and ingenuity. You've managed to summarize one of the greatest stories ever told in ten captivating minutes, with a digital roller coaster being your artistic medium; absolutely epic. The vision, the plan, and the execution on display here deserves applause. The hours of finding the right images, video clips, sounds, etc and manually placing them at the perfect moments; all that work doesn't go unnoticed. Bravo!
Thanks so much for your comment. Certainly it took quite a few months, but if I can make something that has such an effect on people like yourself it's totally worth it! 😀
I can’t believe this hasn’t BLOWN up. This was simply amazing and super immersive. I only wish the feeling of submerging into rapture and seeing the city was incorporated and that the walkie talking was scene in the coaster and lit up the moment atlas was speaking to you and would change when the speaker changes. Otherwise I would get goosebumps if I could ride this. I loved every moment of it. I loved the fact that I was sitting on my couch and could feel the motion of the coaster and where it faces. Very well done!
Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed, constructive criticism also welcome 😊 if I designed the ride today it definitely would have a lot of improvements 🛠️
I dont have enough words to describe how epic this is. The coaster reminded me so much of my favorite parts of Bioshock. Its almost like a dream. You have just earned all my respect in 10 minutes of watching. Thank you.
This coaster is simply amazing. The attention to detail is immense. Even the subtle flickering of the lights with bubbles are present on the sign when the bathysphere is first entering Rapture for the first time. Amazing experience and great encapsulation in only 10 minutes of one of the greatest stories ever told. You have made the roller coaster an artistic medium by which the chaos, intrigue, and turbulence of a situation is depicted through the twists and turns or smoothness of the ride of the coaster. This is an amazing masterpiece and as a lifelong bioshock fan, I cannot even begin to express my profound respect for you and your work.
DUDE!!! Ok, first of all, I love Bioshock! It has been in my heart since it came out and second of all, THIS RIDE NEEDS TO BE MADE!! Very awesome job! Loved everything about it! ❤
Amazing ride! My only complaint is I didn’t have a motion chair to watch this in 😂 reminds me a lot of those motion ride attractions. Crazy all that ride was in the building 🤯
Andrew Ryan himself would probably recruit you for Rapture for creating this. This is amazing stuff! Thanks for giving Bioshock lovers a nostalgia trip.
This is genuinely impressive. Condensing BioShock down to just a few standout moments while still feeling like you hit all the different geographic locations in the city of Rapture is no easy feat. And all the while you really made it feel like a roller coaster with the thrills and pacing and unique aspects. I'm in awe.
Thanks for watching! For a game like Bioshock that takes nearly 24 hours to fully complete, sometimes it can be a challenge condensing it into 10 minutes 😅
i usually don’t comment on RU-vid. But this video just popped into my recommends and I love Bioshock and I love chill rides in amusement parks. This is a dream came true. I wish this would be a real ride. Thanks for creating this.
@@NadastEngineering Well it certainly paid off, looks fantastic can't help but to come back and appreciate it again and again, seeing extra things that I may have missed the first time or the second and so on. Very cool
@@NadastEngineering Funny story. I’ve been eyeing up the Bioshock collection recently. I think your video just pushed me right over the edge of having to get it. Lol. I own the first one but for everything in one go I don’t mind buying the first one again. All the others I played on game share with a buddy of mine. It’s definitely time to pick it all back up again.
@@NadastEngineering your welcome and I hear ya I still play the game along the others while I wait for bioshock 4 to this day I have it one every console expect for ps4 and computer it is a fantastic game
Wow this is a masterpiece! Awesome work my friend. :) You always have to wonder why a video game themed park has never been created in real life, would be huge in my opinion!
This is the most praise worthy thing I've seen on RU-vid yet! You know, if you found a way to hook this up to a Virtual Reality rig, it'd be perfect for that mode. Would you kindly look into that?
@@NadastEngineering I'm curious about that - why was that an issue? And why not use 2D pictures of the original models on those standees? Not complaining, just curious. It's still an astounding love letter to the game.
@@therealxoc When Planet Coaster was first released it didn't allow importing images! I started working on this before they released the update so hence why it's made just with shapes available. I could have updated it but I suppose it's a bit of variety rather than having a flat picture.
@@NadastEngineering To be honest, Sander Cohen's segment is the best place for such a scene :3 The spinning coaster facets reminds me of how Cosmic Rewind at Epcot goes.
Yeah it was part inspired by The Mummy but also part inspired by in-game events itself, where Cohen forces you to detour into Fort Frolic. Also the Cosmic Rewind coaster would have been perfect for this. Hopefully something similar will appear in Planet Coaster 2, if it ever happens!
Did you make 2 and infinite?? When I tell you this was illogically wonderful!!! there's supposedly a new one coming out..I have this website that's always open on my phone called there's always a lighthouse..it's a page with a galaxy with one shinning star in the middle..and that's it..I absolutely adore this game!! It is life!!!!! A MAN CHOOSES..A SLAVE OBEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much! 😃 Sadly I didn't make any rides based on the other games, but happy you got to enjoy this one...hopefully we'll see a new Bioshock game soon!
Thanks 😊 it's been so long I had to look it up 😂 it's By The Beautiful Sea by Ada Jones. Not part of the Bioshock music suite but just a sea-themed song.
